MSA's innovative device for emergency egress, the Rescue Belt II System, allows firefighters to rappel to safety should they become trapped in abuilding's upper level. MSA’s Rescue Belt II System meets NFPA 1983-2006 edition for Fire Service Life Safety Rope and System Components.

Within extreme conditions, this NFPA-compliant device provides all required equipment for rappelling; one belt fits all fire department members.Web management feature also integrates regulator holder for easy stowing of excess webbing.

To initiate emergency egress, use right hand to pull knotted rope end forward to access Crosby hook and descender. Secure Crosby hook, engagedescender and begin descent.

Rescue Belt II System may be ordered as a FireHawk® M7 Air Mask option or as an individually-sold component for upgrade of your existing MSAFireHawk Air Mask. Rescue Belt II System is compatible with the MSA ExtendAire™ II and Quick-Fill® System.

Ergonomically-contoured Ara-Shield rescue belt pouch easily stores:

• Choice of 50’ MSA aramid/nylon or FireTech 32 rescue rope.

• Auto-locking Sterling F4 descender.

• Choice of Crosby hook or carabiner.

MSA’s FireHawk M7 Accountability System consists of five main components:

FireHawk M7 Control Module

ID Tag

• Provides graphical display of battery status, cylinder pressure, heatalarm, evacuation commands, radio connectivity, and service timeremaining.

• Measures and calculates your air consumption rate during the firstthree minutes of use. After initial calculation, service time remainingfunction updates every 30 seconds.

Reliable solid-state accelerometer detects firefighter motion• Offers sensitivity to motion and resistance to false alarms while

meeting your job demands.

• Resistant to typical wear associated with mechanical components.

• Using a personalized ID tag, each firefighter can store his/her name,jump seat location, station number, and other information.

• Your personal information then becomes part of the data loggingrecord retrieved when all PASS device information is downloaded.

• Plugs into your computer’s USB port and downloads FireHawk M7PASS device data.

• Enables incident command to view each firefighter’s vital statistics onscene, such as PASS alarms, cylinder pressure, thermal alarms, batterystatus, time-remaining calculations, and evacuation acknowledgement.

• Pulls critical information onscreen via pop-up windows.

MSA Quick-Fill SystemThe Quick-Fill System allows for rapid transfer of air from a high-pressure source into a cylinder containing less pressure.

This system can recharge SCBA cylinders under routine conditions without having to remove air masks and can even be used in atmospheresclassified as IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health).

The MSA Quick-Fill System is the only NIOSH-certified emergency breathing option available, which allows every FireHawk M7 Air Mask to serve asa RIT unit for rapid intervention.

MSA ExtendAire SystemsMSA’s ExtendAire Systems allow firefighters to quickly and easily connect to and breathe from a fellow firefighter’s air cylinder. ExtendAire Systemsare tightly integrated with SCBA to provide unrestricted mobility and easy access during critical situations.

The ExtendAire I System is integrated to the Firehawk® MMR's second stage regulator’sintermediate pressure line. The system's 40-inch rescue hose between SCBA provides bothfirefighters with intermediate pressure air for emergency escape.

MSA’s ExtendAire II System offers an integrated rescue hose used with PR14™ First-StageRegulator that features both male and female quick-connect fittings. System is stowed in a waistpouch that mounts on the carrier assembly and prevents snagging or accidental opening.ExtendAire II System also connects to the ExtendAire I System for additional system flexibility.

MSA's RescueAire II Portable Air-Supply System provides easy-to-use, portable and compact emergency breathing air. Designed for RapidIntervention Teams (RITs), the RescueAire II System is compatible with all FireHawk MMR Air Masks.

Feature-packed system consists of flame-and heat-resistant carrying harness with adjustable Nomex/Kevlar shoulder strap, Audi-Larm™Audible Alarm low-pressure warning device, pressure-reducing regulator, second-stage mask-mounted regulator, 36" Quick-Fill System EBSconnection, and ExtendAire System EBS connection. RescueAire II Portable Air-Supply System is available in both low-pressure (2216 psig) andhigh-pressure (4500 psig) versions.
