1.0 BACKGROUND
On December 6th, 2012, Met-Solve received 13 bags of drill core sample weighing approximately
16.9 kg from:
Electra Gold Ltd. Unit 5, 2330 Tyner St. Port Coquitlam, B.C. Canada, V3C 2Z1
The drill cores were crushed and mixed to form a composite for testing. This initial composite was
labeled BS100.
The primary objectives of the test work were to:
a) Determine the overall gold recovery via flotation at three different grind sizes
b) Determine cyanide leach recovery of gold and silver from a 48 hour bottle roll test
On January 8th, 2013, Met-Solve received an additional 5 kg of drill core samples for additional
gravity and flotation test work.
The primary objectives of the additional test work were to:
a) Identify the amount of gravity recoverable gold content present
b) Determine the overall gold and silver recovery from a gravity + flotation process
The remaining 3.5 kg from the initial composite was combined with the new 5 kg sample to create a
new composite for the additional gravity and flotation test work. This secondary composite was
labeled BS200.

1.1 TEST PROCEDURES
The samples were subject to the following preparation and test procedures:
1. Crushing and rotary splitting
2. 4.0 kg flotation test at three different grind sizes (P80 = 220 µm, 141 µm, 77 µm)
3. A 48-hour bottle roll cyanidation test (P80 = 77 µm)
4. Specific gravity test via pycnometer method using kerosene
5. A 2-Stage, 4 kg, GRG test using a laboratory scale Falcon L40 centrifugal concentrator,
with intermediate grinding between stages.
6. Flotation test on the gravity tails

2.1 FLOTATION (Test BS102 – BS104)
Three 4 kg samples were split from the initial composite (BS100) for flotation tests (BS102-BS104)
to determine gold, silver and sulfur recoveries at different grind sizes (220 µm, 141 µm and 77 µm).
The reagents used for flotation included CuSO4, PAX, MIBC and TF250. The overall recoveries and
gold grades of the flotation tests are presented in Table II.

(Appendices B - D). The calculated head grades, total concentrate grades and recoveries of these
other elements are presented in Table III.

2.2 CYANIDATION (BS106, BS203)
Approximately 200 g of the initial composite (BS100) was ground to a P80 of 77 µm for a cyanide
bottle roll test (BS106). The composite was leached in 1.0 g/L NaCN for 48 hours with sub-samples
taken at 1, 6 and 24 hours. It is important to note that the highest gold grade in solution occurred
after 24 hours of leaching. The drop in solution gold grade after 24 hours may be due to preg
robbing.
For cyanide leach test BS203, approximately 270 g of the second composite (BS200) was ground to
a P80 of 61 µm for a cyanide bottle roll test. The composite was leached in 1.0 g/L NaCN for 24
hours as the highest gold recovery occurred at this point. This test was done for quality control.
In both tests, lime was added as 10% slurry to maintain a pH of 10.5.
The overall recoveries and gold grades of the cyanidation tests are presented in Table IV.

Cyanidation achieved excellent gold recoveries of 94.6% and 94.0% respectively. Most of the gold
was recovered within 24 hours.
Note that both tests resulted in very low gold grades (≤ 0.1 g/t) in the leach residue.

2.3 FALCON GRAVITY TEST (BS201)
A 4 kg representative sample from the second composite (BS200) was finely crushed to a P80 of
731 µm. The material underwent 2 passes with grinding applied after the first pass. After each pass,
the concentrates were panned to examine the upgradeability of the material. The gravity tails were
subjected to a flotation test. The flow sheet of the gravity test work is presented in Figure 1.

The gravity results are presented in Table V below.

2.4 ROUGHER-CLEANER FLOTATION ON GRAVITY TAILS (BS202)
A rougher-cleaner flotation test was done on the gravity tails using PAX, MIBC and TF250 to
determine the overall recovery from a combined gravity and flotation process.
A cleaner float was performed on the rougher concentrates with minimal reagent addition. The
results of the flotation test are presented in Table VI.
Table VI: Flotation Recovery on Gravity Tails
Flotation on the gravity tails recovered 69.8% of the remaining gold into a mass yield of 9.34%.
Copper sulfate was not added for this flotation test as it did not appear to improve the results in the
first three floats.

2.5 GRAVITY & ROUGHER-CLEANER FLOTATION
The flow sheet of the gravity + flotation test work is presented in Figure 2.
Figure 2: Flow Sheet Diagram for Gravity + Flotation Test Work
The overall gravity and flotation gold grades and recoveries are presented in Table VII.
Table VII: Gravity + Rougher-Cleaner Flotation Results
The combined gravity and flotation test achieved 81.7% gold recovery with a final tail grade of
0.21 g/t.
Note that composite BS200 had a lower gold grade than composite BS100. Despite the lower head
grade, a higher recovery was achieved when Gravity + Flotation was implemented.
The final tails grade from the Gravity + Float test was significantly lower (0.21 g/t Au compared to an
average tail grade of 0.47 g/t Au from flotation only) indicating that gravity was required to maximize
recovery.
