Heaven nor Hell In literary fiction the notion of good vs. evil is a common theme. The conflict of good vs. evil can come in many forms. The following writers Dante, Spenser, and Milton, all created epic poems that give the phrase “of epic proportions” its meaning. Within these masterpieces lays a web of the conflict of good vs. bad, and what happens when a person practices the good or the bad. In order for the reader of each of these epics to fully comprehend the story lines, the reader must be knowledgeable of The Seven Deadly Sins, The Seven Heavenly Virtues, The War in Heaven, and The Fall of Man (Adam & Eve).
