The Safet! (fficer shall be responsible for safe eecution of work actiities in

compliance with the approed S plan 1 pro.ect S requirements"9"8"/ nsure that all S requirements are applied and implemented

according to the eneral Specification requirements while eecuting

the works"

9"8"2 nsure that the approals of work permits are obtained prior to start

actiities"

9"8"3 nsure that recommendations of workplace precautions are followed

spreading" 6f the moisture content is less than the optimum moisture

content# adequate amount of water shall be added to obtain the

optimum content# likewise# to proide allowance for moisture lost

due to eaporation in spreading# raking# leeling# and compacting

process"

determine the optimum number of passes of compaction and to

control the pre-wetting and water spra!ing for optimum moisture

content","2"4 The underl!ing surface shall be pre-wetted to increase bonding with

the new la!er"

motor grader"
