Make a name tag for yourself and put it on—that is what we’ll call you!

Find a chair and take the “Find-a-Friend” activity and try to find friends to sign your sheet!

Homework: How Much?Third Grade Homework Policy: 20+ minutes of daily reading practice Up to 10 minutes of review, practice or

project Healthy Homework for students, parents,

and teacher. Communication is Important!

Homework: Who’s Responsible?

Student Responsibility Transport homework to and from school Complete all homework on time Ask for help if they do not understand Up to 30 minutes of homework including 20

minutes of reading (More reading is encouraged)

Parent Responsibility Provide appropriate time and space Support the development of a routine (schedule) Monitor your child’s reading log. Review your child’s work and notes from school.
