6. Category of Project i.e. ‘A’ or ‘B’ Category – B

The proposed project is the within the

existing premises with no increase in

pollution loadper unit of production as the

process is with sophisticated

technologieswhen compared with systems

proposed in existing E.C. The existing plant

is exempted from public hearing because of

usage of grains as raw material. The

pollutants generating due to usage of grains

is lesser than that of the pollution load

generates due to usage of molasses.

The plant stopped in the year 2012 after

partial construction of plant and proponent

got sick and sold to M/s. KBK Biotech Pvt.

Ltd on 2016 and the new management

started construction and for funds

approached banks and after study of

feasibility the bankers asked to go for

additional capacity in order to get the

viability and repay the loan. Hence the

management reviewed the proposal and

stopped construction and approached to

financial institutions for funding and after

assessment they revealed that if the project

go for extension then only the funds can be

allotted based on their repayment

calculations.

As the plant is existing only and now we are

going for additional scope only on grain

hence considering lesser pollution load per

unit of production hence request for

exemption of public hearing

The proposed project is the within the existing premises with

no increase in pollution load per unit of production as the

process is with sophisticated technologies. The existing plant is

exempted from public hearing because of usage of grains as

raw material. The pollution generated due to usage of grains is

lesser than that of the pollution generated due to usage of

molasses.

Hence request you to consider our project for exemption of

public hearing.
