“Why study chemistry?”I asked you to identify the top 10 issues that should be addressed to improve the quality of life globally – before the middle of this century. Four out of these 10 are chemistry related and a couple others have scientific connections.
Every person on this earth deserves an opportunity to be educated so they can at LEAST somewhat understand these huge issues and the science behind them. Some of my students today will be the scientists (etc) who will work to solve these problems for us!

Encouragement to attend block 7 and to be an advocate for him or herself
Allow him/her quiet time and space to do their homework
Allow him/her computer and printer access to complete laboratory reports
Check Aeries so you’re aware of his/her scores and performance
Assist his/her with study group formation (pizza, transportation, etc)
Please share your personal chemistry experience with your student. Chemistry was a struggle for us adults, too!
