sheet e n t i t l e d "Notes taken a t Annual I\RC Convention" was an item about sample copies of DX News, It t o l d of the l a rge number of requests and the cost of same plus the very small percentage of new members gained by these sample copies, The r e s u l t was t h a t i n t he fu tu re it would re- qu i r e a fee of 25$ bo obtain a sample copy of DX News and those who joined the ARC a s a r e s u l t of receiving t h e i r copy, the 25$ f e e they paid would be deducted from t h e i r F i r s t years dues, thus they would not spend t h i s 25q! i n vain, However, l a t e r , an a r t i c l e appeared i n a rad io magazine informing anyone in te res ted may obtain a sample copy 0% DX News by sending i n lo$, To date I have honored a l l requests t h a t a l s o contain- ed lo$, However again the requests have become so great with s o l i t t l e new members from s a i d a r t i c l e t h a t despi te t he inclus ion of lo$ , it i s s t i l l a d ra in on your Clubs t reasury as it does not pay f o r t he a c t u a l cos t of an issue.
