Spelling: Test will be on Friday ask asked plan planned help helped jog jogged call called Bonus words: soon/ again Writing : Students will be working on informational pieces of writing High Frequency Words: This weeks words: afraid, read, soon, again, how few Math: We will be using base ten blocks to add larger numbers. HOMEWORK: Math: Home Links every night ( I will send home each night) Reading: Please read the decodable readers that I send home during the week and return them on Friday . (Mom Races, Day at the Farm) Spelling: I will not be sending home spelling home work at this time. Please have your child practice the words as much as possible. Examples: 5 times each, practice tests, write spelling words in shaving cream High Frequency Words: Practice the words for the week as much as possible. I have placed the new Unit Three word cards in your child’s folder. Things going on in the classroom: *Please remember to send back your child’s decodable reading books on Fridays. *Please send coats, gloves and hats with your child for recess. Special Schedule: Monday: Technology Tuesday: Physical Education Wednesday: Music Thursday: Art Friday: Library
