How Rattle Snakes Survive

This is how rattle snakes survive. Rattle snakes live in deserts, prairies and forests. When a rattle snake’s tail is rattling means that’s enough! Don’t get too close! Rattle snakes eat rabbits and reptiles like lizards. They catch their prey with venom in their fangs. This is how a rattle snake survives.

survive. Giraffes live in and around the Sahara desert. They always need to be around trees. Giraffes can run 35 miles per hour - 56 kilometers per hour. They need a long neck for reaching tree tops and long legs and heavy hooves for kicking and running away from enemies. That is how giraffes survive.

Polar bears blend in with the snow to hunt seals. Their thick fur and a layer of fat keep them warm. Small ears lose less body heat. Their feet on the bottom of them keep them from slipping on ice.
