OBITUARY

On September 24, 1925 a b less ing was born Geneva Whetstone

Bradford (Sugar Gal ) . Born in Goodwater , A labama to the late

Frankl in Whetstone and Nancy Gaddis .

Geneva was the o ldest of f i ve ch i ldren . She was preceded in death

by three s i s ter s .

Geneva jo ined the Mar ietta Miss ionary Bapt i s t Church at an ear l y

age where she served in many capac i t ies includ ing: Choi r Member

which she loved dear l y , Pres ident of the Fe l lowsh ip Hal l , member of

the Usher Board , Secretary of the Sunday School , member of the

Pastor ’s A ide, member of the Miss ionary Soc iety , Youth Teacher , a

member of the church c lean up crew and the o ldest member of the

church .

She was un i ted in Holy Matr imony to Mr. John Booker T. Bradford

on February 15, 1941.

Our Great Grandma’s New Address

Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11a.m. our great grandma

received her call from God, the King who let her know

that her home was ready and that she could move in.

She packed up bit by bit, she got ready to take off, but

there were a couple more things that she had to com-

plete. Some finishing touches that only Jesus Christ could

help her with. She also had to wait for Him to finish some

things that were too broad, too thick and just too much

for her to handle. As you all know now our Grandma’s

home is ready. Just as my King promised her, it is so beau-

tiful and located in an exclusive area just behind a glori-

ous pearly gate. Of course, the streets are paved in gold I

have been told.. There is nothing going on there but

peace, joy, and happiness. There is no pain, strife, discom-

fort, nor any cares of the world. Guess what! She had to

leave us to go get fitted for her wings

Oh Yeah, let me tell you this, she doesn’t have a telephone

but you can call Jesus and He will confirm that she is do-

ing great. If you don’t know how to reach Him just read

your Bible everyday. If you want to see my grandma to

really know she is ok, fall down on your knees and pray,

pray, pray.
