The most eventful day of The Al Muntazir Week 2019 was celebrated on

Friday, 16th August 2019 with the school flag raising, to honor and celebrate

the birth of our 12th Living Imam - Al Mahdi (atfs). The theme this year was

‘THE UNIVERSE’ under the slogan “He is the one who will fill the

Universe with Justice, Love, Peace and Kindness”.

Mr. Hassan Dewji who is the Director of Human Resources at METL was the

Guest of Honor for the day. He is well known and holds multiple hats each

one unique not only in the Community but the larger Society. He raised the

school flag and was also initiated as an honorary member of the Scouts

Association by the scout’s leader.

The program commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an,

followed by the Principal’s speech outlining the whole week’s activities

ranging from meeting people of varied status, learning to be kind, sharing

time with the older generation, projects and a parental session on how

instrumental and powerful parents are in their children’s lives.

Mr. Dewji gave two very powerful advices in his speech. One was to be a

good human being in all areas of our interaction with other humans

regardless of caste, creed and colour and the other was to be useful to the

world. He also told the students, teachers and parents to follow their dream.

A beautiful end to an auspicious Friday.
