My GoalsTo give you the academic and social skills you need to progress to fourth grade.To provide a supportive, safe, secure, and fun classroom environment.To help you make new friends, and let you know learning can be fun, and discover new interests.Tips for ParentsAny homework will be in the students GREEN folder. So check this daily in your son/daughters backpack. Red folders are Not to leave the classroom!!Parents can chaperone on any field trips (Just let me know!!).

Classroom CommunityOur classroom is like a community. In our community, we have rules to help us get along with one another. Our class rules are:Be respectful and responsible.Be organized and follow directions.Treat everyone the way you want to be treatedBe on time.Be prepared to learn.HomeworkI will assign about 40 minutes of homework each night. 20 minuets is reserved for reading. Your homework is due on the following morning.If you need extra time to work on your homework or have questions, you can go to homework helpers during recess to work on it, or after school.

Field TripsWe have lots of fun field trips planned for this year!We will attend two plays at the Childrens Theater as part of our reading units.We will visit Maple Grove park and take water samples from the river as part of our science unit on the environment.We will tour a bakery as part of our social studies unit on community.
