    General Items

The exterior inspection ensures that the overall condition of the aircraft and its visiblecomponents and equipment are safe or the flight. Do a visual inspection of thefuselage, empennage, wings, nacelles and associated elements to

Check structure for impact damage Check that there is no evident fuel, oil or hydraulic leak Check that all ground access door are closed

NOTE: Due to RVSM condition, special attention shall be paid during the visualinspection to check for dents, deformation and any other structural damage atmarked areas of skin around the following elements:

Sensor Angle of Attack (3 positions) Probe Pitot (3 positions) Probe Static (6 positions) Sensor TAT (2 positions)

    WALK AROUND CHECK

The parking brake must be ON during the exterior inspection, to allow checking ofthe break wear indicators.

    1. Carry out a walk around check of the fuselage, wings, nacelles andempennage for general condition, cleaning and security.

    2. Check screws/rivets availability and looseness3. Ensure intakes are clear of foreign objects4. Check external placards for condition & availability
