Michael Judy TJ Tamer Star Wars: The Force Awakens - It's been thirty years since the Empire fell and out of the ashes the First Order has arisen. Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) is in search of something that has been missing for a long time and it will be up to the Resistance to stop him. Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and Poe (Oscar Isaac) must try to find what's missing before Ren does. The Love the Coopers - is about an eclectic family that spans four generations. Bucky (Alan Arkin) the patriarch is a widower who cherishes the memories of his beloved family from days gone while sitting in the Diner being dotingly waited on by Ruby (Amanda Seyfried) a young waitress whom Bucky has come to adore and offer advice. Bucky’s oldest daughter Charlotte (Diane Keaton) is married to Sam (John Goodman) a couple whose marriage has been fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance. Where is Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in all this? Can good defeat evil and balance be restored? Where are the Jedi? It's been 38 years since the first Star Wars came out and after the disappointing, to some, prequels this knocks a grand slam out of the park. This movie is so fun and completely brings back the awesomeness that is the original Star Wars trilogy. There isn't much to concern families so I would take the whole crew, except for maybe younger children. If you grew up on Star Wars then this nostalgia filled film will warm your soul. Simultaneously, it will draw new people into the fold with this fast paced entertaining film. Overall I give this film a 5 out of 5 tickets. faltering for a long time and whose end has come. But not for Charlotte whose dream is to have one last memorable family Christmas, whilst Sam’s is to take an adventure thirty years in the making. They are the parents of two grown children, Eleanor (Olivia Wilde) and Hank (Ed Helms) both with their own personal issues. Eleanor is single, strong willed, and struggles with relationships; reluctantly on her way home and hiding out in the airport bar she meets Joe (Jake Lacy) her polar opposite, an Army soldier stranded in the local airport due to weather. Hank is unemployed, a divorced father of two boys; struggling to get back on his feet looking for work wherever he can find it. Love the Coopers is a story narrated by a “surprise” member of the family who intertwines the stories of these and other family members smoothly with some intermixing of sorrow, seriousness, love, and laughter along the way. Love the Coopers is directed by Jessie Nelson a writer-producer (I Am Sam, 2001 and Stepmom, 1998), it is a comedy-drama, rated PG-13 for mild sexual innuendo. I Love the Coopers and I believe you will Love the Coopers too.
