PUBLISHERrsquoS NOTE

I love riding bikes andmdashlike most mountain bikersmdashif Irsquom not riding my bike I love to talk about it just as much Lately I feel like Irsquove been doing more talking than riding Although I can

ride through winter I also enjoy the break to pursue other activities

This year my ldquooff-seasonrdquo break was spent bringing Mountain Bike for Her from a digital publication to print The magazine has been around in the digital format since June 2014 and I have to confess that we were hesitant to go to print In our early days we had been advised by many to stick to digital Print was dyingmdashor so we were toldmdashbut with each issue more people were asking for a print copy Print definitely isnrsquot dead yet

The supporters of our Indiegogo campaign were an essential part of bringing this first print issue to life You can find a list of the contributors on the inside back cover and we would like to thank for them for their contributions

I know that I have always loved the feeling of a magazine in my hands and Irsquom really excited to be able to share this first print edition And Irsquom especially excited to be able to give people the choice of reading the magazine in print or from the screen of an electronic device
