Mount Everest is part of the Himalayas between China and Nepal in Asia. It is a fold mountain and is the highest mountain in the
world above sea level. Every year, around 1000 people try to climb Mount Everest and
about half of them reach the summit.

volcano that last erupted about 200 years ago and could erupt again. It is the highest
freestanding mountain in the world.

mountain. It is part of a Biosphere Reserve, which means it is an area where the landscape
and wildlife are protected and studied.

Mount Olympus is part of the Olympus Range in Greece, Europe. It is a fold mountain and
is the highest mountain in Greece. In ancient Greece, it was believed to be the home of
the Greek gods.
