1 Harwood Gate is the visitors entrance and parking lot for the undergraduate admissions office. 2 Center for Communications and Engineering houses the School of Communications, the School of Engineering and the Mount Carmel Auditorium. This main floor includes a multimedia computer classroom, open media lab and an audio/video equipment loan facility. The lower level includes engineering workshops and a machine shop. The building also houses the Office of Multicultural and Global Engagement, the Center for Psychological Science, Academic Affairs, plus faculty and administrative offices. 3 Echlin Center houses the offices of Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid, faculty offices and classrooms. The Kresge Foundation Lecture Hall and Perlroth Boardroom are located here. 4 Clarice L. Buckman Center contains classrooms and faculty offices. In the center is the Clarice L. Buckman Theater, used for guest lectures. 5 Tator Hall houses the Game Design & Development Lab and other classrooms, science laboratories and faculty offices. 6 Carl Hansen Student Center contains a bookstore, post office, student lounge areas, and the People’s United Bank ATM. Student media and government, other campus organizations, and Starbucks are on the second floor. 7 Mount Carmel Dining Hall Students can choose from a dozen dining stations including Pollo, which offers chicken wraps; Breakfast All Day; Rosso Verde, with a range of Italian pasta dishes, subs and gourmet pizzas; Revolution Noodle and Sushi, plus stations for grilled snacks and sides, fresh salads, muffins, deli options, smoothies, burgers, gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian items and more. It also includes a multipurpose surface used for volleyball, tennis and basketball; suspended walking track; combination large weight room and exercise center; and two multipurpose dance/aerobics studios. Quinnipiac University Poll, at 20–60 West Woods Road, regularly surveys residents in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and nationally about political races and issues of local, regional and national concern. Quinnipiac Theatre Arts Center located at 515 Sherman Avenue in Hamden is the location for all of Quinnipiac’s main stage and student-run theater productions. It also includes a black box theater. The music building is located next to the Theatre Arts building at 485 Sherman Ave. Quinnipiac University Online, 3035 Whitney Ave., expands Quinnipiac’s educational offerings for adult learners with online undergraduate, graduate, doctorate and certificate programs as well as online summer classes. WQUN AM 1220, the university’s radio station, at 3085 Whitney Ave., provides local news, interviews, national news and live coverage of Quinnipiac sports.
