TEACH ME LORD
Teach me, Lord, the ways of truth,
So I may not abuse my youth
In idle things that will not give
Instructions in the way to live.
Bless me with a godly mind
That I may walk and be most kind
To all of those who may not know
The Christian way in which to go.
Teach me, Lord, in my old age
To see your goodness in every page
Of my Bible as I read
Of how you'll meet my every need.
Please teach me, Lord, this prayer I pray
To serve you now in every way.

Minister Jyrekis B. Collins is a young
man who is on fire for God. From an early age he came to know God and was exposed to spiritual things. As a young boy, he attended Faith Temple Church Of God In Christ in Athens, Ga. At age 11 he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Stephens, Georgia. Throughout life, he has been looked upon as a leader in the church and community. Not only can he preach, but he can also usher in the presence of the lord through ministry of song. Minister Collins was one of the two speakers at the Northeast Georgia Fellowship Of Christian Athletes banquet in 2013, where there was an attendance of over 1,000 youth and adults. Furthermore, Minister Collins was awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution Elijah Clarke Chapter Citizenship Award in 2014. This is a community award, awarded to an outstanding leader, who exemplifies morals, hygiene, and dedication to whatever he or she does. Minister Collins currently is an undergraduate student at Morehouse College, and is studying religion, with plans to attend seminary to pursue a Masters of Divinity or Theology with hopes to eventually obtain a Phd. At Morehouse College he serves as a Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel Assistant, he is a charter member of a bible study in the Atlanta University Center, and has served as a class senator at Morehouse. Minister Collins is a 2017 cohort member of The National Festival Of Young Preachers. Additionally, he has had the opportunity to obtain Church summer internships, one at a 100 plus year old Black Baptist congregation in Bishop, Ga, and the other at a United Church of Christ congregation in Shaker Heights, Ohio. He is currently a member of the 2017-2018 Cohort for The College of Pastoral Leadership which is under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Lawrence Edward Carter Sr., Dean of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel. The College of Pastoral Leadership helps to mentor and shape early career pastors and aspiring pastors. Minister Collins is a proud member of The Miracle House Church International, located in Bogart, Ga where the senior pastor is Daisy R. Hall. At Miracle House he serves as a minister and a praise and worship member.
Robert Wesley “Bobby” Hill, at 16, has successfully transitioned from boy soprano to a solid young tenor with an angelic upper-range. Dubbed the “Voice of an Angel” by Mark Wahlberg, Bobby is best known for his last minute a cappella performance of Pie Jesu for Pope Francis in September 2015, Bobby returned to the national spotlight in 2016 by opening the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem. A proud member of the Keystone State Boy Choir since age 7, Bobby is a frequent soloist on the Concert Choir & Town Choirs. Named one of Ebony Magazine's “Power 100” in 2015, he opened their 70th Anniversary Gala at the Beverly Hilton. Additional noteworthy experiences include performing for Broadway icon Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Godspell) at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and at a private gala honoring the Broadway icon. He also performed in Opera Philadelphia's production of La Boheme and loaned his voice to the Irish Repertory Theatre's Broadway Production of Oliver at the Shubert Theatre in NYC. Robert had the honor of interpreting the role of “Little Joe” in three productions of the Holocaust folk opera, Brundibar, and the world premier of AZAIO in Citta della Pieve, Italy in 2014 with the International Opera Theater. A lead in Opera Saratoga's ground-breaking premier of The Long Walk in July 2015, Bobby lit up the stage this summer at San Luis Obispo's 46th annual classical music Festival Mozaic, with a three curtain-call ovation performance of Gustav Mahler's 4th Symphony and as “featured soloist” in the performance of three pieces with the Philadelphia Orchestra during Philly's July 4th Welcome America celebration. With the soft release of his Christmas album recorded in Prague with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Bobby looks to expand his repertoire as a tenor and formally release his Christmas Album in the fall. It is already available for purchase on QVC.com (search bar: Bobby Hill). Bobby hopes, one day, to headline at the Met and on Broadway and enjoy a long multifaceted career in the arts.
