When people are not motivated with their job search, they have less energy, are more likely to resist change, and are less likely to take that extra step.

Lack of motivation is often caused by frustration and feelings of powerlessness – even if people have the power in reality, if they do not see themselves as having it, motivation can be lacking. People must feel that they control their own destiny.
