Trust this letter finds you in good health and spirits!thIt is our pleasure to invite you along with your family for 14
Global Alumni Convention 2018 scheduled to be held on 16-18
November, 2018. The Alumni Convention of MNNIT Allahabad is
conducted every year under umbrella of MNNIT Alumni
Association (MAA) and witnesses a huge gathering of alumni
from all over the world. This is an occasion to renew our
association with the Alma mater, meet our old buddies and
families, to see the new developments in the institute after the
college life and of course, to plan our own contribution towards
growth of the Alma mater.
Our Alumni, working all over the world have also formed few
local ‘Alumni Chapters’ in different cities of India and abroad. The
Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Allahabad and Mumbai chapters are well
established with good number of active members. These chapters
are actively involved in welfare activities of our alumni and
organize the regular get-together to strengthen the bond among
them.
Over the years, our institute has seen remarkable
developments. Started with only 3 UG courses in 1961, now the
institute offers 9 UG, 29 PG, and various Doctoral Research
programmes in the fields of Science & Technology. The Institute
has been granted the status of ‘Institution of National Importance’
w.e.f. 15.08.2007, and has emerged as one of the best institute of
North India.
MAA has also observed remarkable change in its history in the
last decade. It has its own well established office with dedicated
web portal to interact with you directly and accommodate your
suggestions/feedback for future growth of all the stake holders. It
has become possible only because of your generous support and
pledge to shine your Alma mater with fast pace.
The Organizing Committee appeals to our Alumni and Local
Chapters’ Executive Body to help in raising the funds through
Sponsorships, Advertisements and Contributions.
The Organizing Committee is looking forward to welcome
you at your Alma mater and hope that your benign presence will
make the event memorable. The focus of the Organizing
Committee is to ensure the good number of presence and
participation from each & every batch.
As per our past practices, the faculty members retired after
Alumni Convention-2017, Alumni of Golden Jubilee Batch (1968
Graduates), Entrants of year 1968 completing their ‘दो�ती के पचास
वष�' this year, Coral Anniversary Batch (1983 Graduates) and Silver
Jubilee batch (1993 Graduates) will be felicitated and honored with
their spouses in this convention.

Registration
Duly filled registration form along with fee detail should reach the
MNNIT Alumni Association Office latest by 15th November, 2018. The
minimum registration fee is 2000/- in general and 5000/- for
Felicitation Batches, however alumni are encouraged to contribute more to
the Alma mater. The registration fee is waived off for retired faculty
members of the institute. Account detail is mentioned in ‘Payments’
section. Further alumni can submit the registration fees online through our
new website portal https://alumni.mnnit.ac.in.
