Evolution, concepts and theories related to mother and infant, nursing therapeutics for

mother and infant, the roles and responsibilities of the professional nurse in premarital counseling,

family planning, infertile condition and antenatal care using the nursing process with emphasis on

caring and family participation, within legal limitations and professional codes of ethics, in order

to maintain, promote and protect the physical, social and spiritual health of individuals, group,

families and communities.
