The Advent Season is upon us and we are in the middle of our Annual Advent Collections. Below is a
listing of the days we will be collecting and what donations we are asking for.
December 16 & 17: Non-Perishable Food Items or Gift Cards for Christmas Food Baskets
December 23 & 24: Baby Items and/or Gift Cards (New Items Please: Infant clothing, bottles, blankets,
toddler clothes, etc.)
If you know of a parishioner or family in need of help for Christmas, please let the Paris Office know and
we will put them on our giving list. Thank you!

Advent Taize Services
Please join us for our Advent Taize prayer services. They are filled with song, silence and prayer. They will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28th, Tuesday, December 5th, and
Tuesday, December 19th (which will be our Advent Reconciliation Service).
NEWS OF COMFORT In a time of preparation, much of it having to do
with material things, it is good to hear the words of Isaiah, "Comfort, give comfort to my people, / says
your God" (Isaiah 40:1). In a time of such stress and rush, when our usual burdens are augmented by piles of Christmas preparations, we can choose
to slow down, take some time to heal, and appreciate the enormous gift we are about to
receive. Christ, the Son of God, has become one of us, and knows our human limitations. Yet God, even now, is freeing us from the burdens that our
inattentiveness to our God and to our deepest inner longings have heaped upon us. The Lord
comes, not as a king with mighty armies, but as a shepherd leading the flocks with care and
tenderness. Isaiah prophesies good news: our oppression is over, our sins forgiven. The savior we have awaited is coming, not the first time, but
in the end times, as our salvation.

Parish Shoe Drive Update
Many thanks to all those who brought in shoes to help support our parish shoe drive for chil-
dren in Haiti. We were able to collect over 200 pairs of shoes that will be sent down to Haiti to
ensure children are able to attend school. Thank you to our wonderful parish for your con-tinued support of all the outreach projects we
continue to do here at Most Holy Trinity.
Religious Ed Candle Drive
Our Religious Ed program did a great job with their Candle fundraiser! A very special thank you to Cory Castillo for selling over $600 in candles. Way to go Cory! Thank you to all
those who purchased candles!
Just Coffee
Café Justo is still available for purchase only at the Parish Office. Café Justo is a grower owned coffee cooperative based in Southern Chiapas, Mexico. Formed to address the poverty
and migration from Mexico to the United States. Treat yourself and support the growers. Thanks!
