BOXEDENVELOPES

We will soon be in the process of preparing our year 2019 boxedenvelopesforregisteredparishioners. You must be registered to receive

envelopes. If you did not use your 2018 envelopes a minimum of 10 times during the past year, envelopes will not be reissued to you. Besides assisting with the regular financial support of your parish, your usage of envelopes also helps record your Mass attendance. This, in turn, helps the pastor to better verify your level of commitment to the parish when requesting sponsorship certificates. Participation in the envelope system is also necessary for the parish office to be able to issue statements for IRS purposes.

The 2018 Parish Picnic was a wonderful celebration of family, friends, laughter and great food. I am indebted to the picnic

committee for putting together yet another great picnic. I wish to thank the following picnic committee members: Jim Gray, Marie Mancuso, Deacon Keith & Joanne Berg, John & Judy Friel, Benny & Zenaida Manibo, Mike Murphy, Joann Glidden, and Lilianna Brzezinski. They commit themselves to meeting all summer long to prepare and some put in extra time going around town to solicit items for our tricky tray and general picnic needs. There are also an added group of picnic volunteers who help in various ways: Don & Pat Schuck, Jimmy & Mercy Cueva, Maryann & Phyllis Rini, Terry Motomal, Rocco DiTaranto, Michael Annunziata, Teddy Lorenz, Massimo Rocco, Lou Savarese, Frederick Leo, Amanda & Jillian Yarznbowicz, Nicholas Valinotti and the Holy Name Society. They too are very much appreciated. To all those who helped in the kitchen, to all parishioners who contributed so many delicious items to the picnic buffet and dessert table, to our confirmation candidates for lending a helping hand with popcorn, and to the Holy Name Society, who organized the raffle, to our ushers and other volunteers who took care of the tents and tables, a great big thank you and God bless you. You are all what makes me proud to be pastor of this beautiful parish. Congratulations to our 50/50 raffle winners: 1st Prize Carol Sicinski $1,518.00 2nd Prize Joanna Jarrach $434.00 3rd Prize Jo-Ann Visinski $217.00

God Bless, Father Carina
