Lord Hear Our Prayers

Thank You Padre George Last weekend we celebrated Father’s Day. This was the perfect day to thank Padre George for his spiritual guidance, and leadership in our parish for the past three years. Padre George thank you for your joyfulness. We will miss our English lessons, and weekly quizzes. May God continue to bless you and your priestly vocation. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Thank you to our parishioners who have responded generously with pledges and gifts in support of the 2018 Annual Pastoral Appeal. Your generosity to APA helps our parish with our financial responsibility.

To date, we have received $29,168.00 from 102 households toward our $ 68,109.00 goal. Every gift makes a difference. Please, prayerfully consider a gift of hope to those in need.

Women of Most Holy Name Of Jesus

Thank you for organizing, and hosting the receptions for Padre George last weekend. Thank you to all the ladies who contributed to the money tree as well.

The women’s ministry is an important ministry for our church community. We encourage all the ladies of the parish to be involved with this vital ministry. We meet once a month in

the evening.

Our Next Meeting will be July 12th at 6:30pm in the Goodman Center Conference Room.

We will be creating a mission statement, and discerning leadership for our ministry.

Fr. Frank will be sharing his vision of this group during our meeting. Please come join us, and bring a friend.

The Summer months are typically dedicated to repairing our facilities, so that we may provide programs during the year. All of our rooms in the Goodman Center have A/C units that are over 20 years old, and they need to be replaced. The cost is $800.00 per unit. We need at least 8 units, which will give each room a working A/C. The window treatments need replacing, and the rooms need to be painted.

Any special donation would be appreciated. If you would like more information on how you may be able to assist the church, please contact Pat in the office. Thank you to all those who have helped with this project. You will be helping our community.

Happy Sunday everyone! Our youth group has been having lots of summer fun! We wanted to share some pictures from our Bible Scavenger hunt (here are some of our youth being great sports about the whole thing). We are gearing up for our trip to the Steubenville conference! It is fast approaching and we are all very excited! WAY continues throughout the summer and we will be meeting this Wednesday, June 27th at 7pm. Thank you and God Bless!

¡Un feliz domingo a todos! Nuestro grupo juvenil está disfrutando mucho de este verano. Queremos compartir algunas fotos de nuestra búsqueda del tesoro en la Biblia (aquí pueden ver a algunos de nuestros jóvenes disfrutando del desafío). Ya nos estamos preparando para el viaje para la conferencia de Steubenville. Se está acercando y estamos muy entusiasmados. WAY va a continuar reuniéndose durante el verano. Este verano, del 27 al 29 de julio, WAY va a ir a Orlando para participar en la Conferencia Juvenil de Steubenville. Ese fin de semana va a ofrecer muchas oportunidades para que nuestros jóvenes se encuentren con Cristo por medio de la liturgia, la música y de conferencistas que inspiran. La conferencia es para jóvenes de 14 a 18 años. Tenemos espacio disponible para esta conferencia que puede cambiar vidas. El costo es de $330.00 por estudiante. Esto incluye la conferencia, el transporte, las comidas durante la conferencia, alojamiento y una camiseta. Si está interesado en reservar o si desea patrocinar a un estudiante, puede comunicarse con Clari.

Rising Starz Anote la fecha

Este domingo, 24 de junio a la 1pm, los invitamos al concierto del grupo musical Rising

Starz en el salón parroquial. Como muchos de ustedes saben, nuestra propia Christina Waldron es miembro de Rising Starz. Ellos van a interpretar canciones de la popular obra musical “Guys and Dolls” (conocida como “Chicos y chicas” en español).

Vengan a disfrutar del entretenimiento y revivir las canciones de una gran obra musical de Broadway.

Ya está disponible el libro de las intenciones de las misas para el 2018. Puede pasar por la oficina para separar su misa para sus seres queridos y otras intenciones. La ofrenda para una misa diaria es $10.00 y para una misa dominical o
