This weekend taste the delicious food at the «Taste of Moscow» and celebrate the anniversary of Cosmo-politan magazine in Muzeon Park!

Food festival Taste of MoscowFrom the 12th to 13th of Sep-tember in «Luzhniki» on Presti-zhnaya lane will take place the food festival «Taste of Mos-cow».

Three days of culinary en-chanting spectacle especially for the food estates, a great possibility to meet the Moscow restaurant movement. The fes-tival will be interesting and spe-cial, here will be in use special currency «the Taste», that will be equivalent to 100 RUB and can be used to access master classes or degustation.

20th anniver-sary of Cosmo-politan maga-zine in RussiaThe internationally popular magazine for women – Cos-mopolitan is celebrating the 20th anniversary in Russia. For that occasion will be or-ganised a huge celebration in the Muzeon park. There will be presented the main themes of the magazine, represented on special stages with interesting activities.

Photo exhibi-tion «American sandbox» by Harold FeinsteinThe Harold Feinstein Pho-tography Studio is delighted to announce representation with The Lumiere Brothers Center for Photography in Moscow. The Center will open a 120 print Feinstein retro-spective in September 2014 in the largest of three exhi-bition spaces (6500 square feet). It will include all aspects of Feinstein’s black and white photography — from the 40′s through the 90′s.

The Center grew out of the Lumiere Brothers Photo Gal-lery, founded in 2001 as Mos-cow’s first art venue devoted entirely to fine are photogra-phy.

Center Curator Anastasia Lep-ikhova, who first contacted the studio a month ago, recently spent several hours looking through prints at Feinstein’s home and making a selection for consignment. She said that she and the other directors at the Center became better ed-ucated about Feinstein’s work via APAG (the American Pho-to Archives Group) and also through the recently lauded Feinstein image, Boardwalk Music montage, that received international attention last year

when it became the center-piece for Radyo Acik’s Music for the People campaign. The campaign went on to win multiple awards and the image went viral.

Street exhibition «Moscow Planet»Catch the last days of the street exhibition!The department of town-plan-ning policy for the second time organise an interesting exhibition about Moscow. The goal of this exhibition is to show the changes that hap-pen in the city and to definite the most popular places.

The participants of the exhibi-tion has the goal to reflect four different themes :

Exhibition « I want to be an astronaut»The space, the stars, planets in the illuminator… Did you dreamed to become an as-tronaut? In Moscow is open a terrific exhibition, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Moscow Planetarium.

Here you will understand what is to be a real astronaut? Find all the steps that astronauts need to pass before going to space. The whole process from the pre-selection of candidates to the the return to Earth.Among the exhibits you will see presented artefacts from Russian missions of the con-quest of the Universe.

«The dynamic of the city», «City of history and culture», «Moscow and the Musco-vites, the comfortable city», «Moscow from a new point of view».

This year the jury has plenty of work, as they was in need to choose the best works from more that 2000 participants photos. The 84 finalists are now exposed on Krymskaya quay.

Festival of Street Art «ART-SIDE 2014»The Red October factory be-came a laboratory of street art.During several weeks more than 50 artists will change the “face” of the old factory. The themes of this weekend will be “the Freedom” (September 20th &21th “the Evolution”, September 27th&28th “Rus-sian spirit”).Here the visitors will see all the evolution of a street art ob-ject and find information about urban design.

The city will give 6 city buildings facades for the new masterpiece by Money-less, Sat One, Momo, 2501, Nicolas Barom and Erosie. In the Muzeon park will be exposed the art installation of the Spanish artist Oku-da – a 4m high sculpture in form of a crystal from colour-ful modules.

As a bonus, the street art on walls will be completed by a photo exhibition by Martha Cooper. The theme is the history of graffiti and the street culture.

Also find here special cultural zone and kids zone. Of course the festival will be accom-panied by great music from Moscow Djs and musicians and everybody will have the possibility to participate in master-classes, plain-airs with professional artist, the best works from master classes will become a part of the exhibi-tion.

«Tea gardens » in the Vorontsovo mansion How many varieties of tea can you name? If more than ten, the Mansion Vorotsovo is the best place for you this week-end. Why you should go to this event? First, the fair will fea-ture not only a variety of teas, but also honey, sweets, and coffee; variety of hand-made products from different parts of Russia. Secondly, you can try a few dozen of special teas and drinks that you can also buy. And thirdly, here you will learn to brew tea and enjoy a true tea party.

Even if you prefer other drinks, you will have fun things to do at the fair: you may visit one of the craft workshops (clay modelling , wood painting, batik, decoupage and much more), or try your luck in the lottery or competitions. Exhibition «Pelargoniums world. Can it be true that this is a gera-nium?» At the exhibition by the Club of Pelargoniums, visitors can see rare collectible speci-mens of plants from nurseries around the world. Pelargonium – is a flower, which is often confused with geraniums. Indeed, it is related plants, but different. Modern Pelargonium – is an aristocrat-ic plant that affects flower lov-ers by many varieties, hybrids and different colours.

Bright, expressive and fra-grant flowers of Pelargonium have a whole range of shades from the white and pale pink to orange, salmon, red and even purple-black. However, the leaves of Pelargonium are also different and unusual pat-tern can adequately decorate the garden even during the pollen season.

The exhibition will bring to-gether fans and collectors of pelargonium all over the country; they present a unique variety of plants from nurseries of Russia, European countries and the United States.
