Mandan Golden Age is an approved United Way Agency.
Renovations to Kitchen Postponed Until January
Renovations to the Mandan Golden Age Senior Center Kitchen have been postponed and are scheduled to begin sometime this month. It is the intent of Mandan Golden Age to continue to offer meals during the renovation period. Adjustments to the menu may occur with little or no notice due to the work being done in the kitchen. Your patience and understanding are much appreciated.
FUNDRAISING GOAL: We started 2017 with a goal of having $130,000.00 in our Building Fund to use to renovate the kitchen. We started the year with $46,649.86 in the Building Fund, from this fund we used some of the money to replace our sidewalks and purchase a vacuum cleaner, leaving us with approximately $33,125.94 to use towards our kitchen renovation project. As of December 1, 2017, our fundraising efforts added $69,331.00 towards the kitchen renovation project giving us a total of $102,456.94 in our Building Fund to use for renovating the kitchen. The funds we have available are enough to cover the cost (according to our contractors bid) for the renovations we have planned for the kitchen. Hopfauf Custom Builders will be doing the renovations.
A special thank you to all the generous donors who helped us move forward in making the senior center a better place.

Answer to Brainteasers: 1. The letters in each person’s name have a numerical value A-Z = 1-26. The third letter of each name is equal to each person’s age, so Raymond is 25. 2.The third letter of each woman’s name is the same as the fifth letter of each man’s name, so Rosemary is married to Christopher.
