The MORSEAL™ Hot Tap Tee Clamp is an essential part of Hydratight’s suite of pipeline integrity products. Available in a wide variety of sizes, ratings and arrangements, the Hot Tap Tee Clamp can be supplied independently or as an add-on to a larger integrated scope of work.

The MORSEAL Hot Tap Tee Clamp can be deployed subsea or topside / onshore providing a quick, easy and cost effective weldless flanged branch for hot tapping, allowing the operator to tie in, or bypass an existing pipeline.

The MORSEAL Hot Tap Tee Clamp solution eliminates costly shut downs and expensive welding operations. Upon completion the MORSEAL Hot Tap Tee Clamp provides permanent sealing and structural integrity for the remaining design life of the line.

Hot Tapping Process Overview:Valve (item 3) is mounted on the MORSEAL Hot Tap Tee Clamp (item 4) installed on the line.

The Hot Tapping machine (item 1) is installed on top of the valve (item 2), drills through into the pipe (item 5) and retains the coupon.

Once retracted the valve is closed and the hot tapping machine is removed.
