We take great care so you receive your orders in perfect condition. Each item in your order is individually poly-sleeved and packaged with paper interleaving to protect metal finishes. Items are usually boxed in quantities of 50 pieces, shrink-wrapped and placed on pallets to prevent damage.

In House Design and EngineeringOur in house design and engineering staff can take your concept and make it a reality. Whether it’s an established design, or an entirely new product, we work with our customers through every step of the product design process to ensure the highest quality end product. Using industry standard software such as AutoCad and SolidWorks ensures accurate electronic conversions of product drawings for production.

Just in Time InventoryMorse has three convenient distribution facilities across the United States and can provide a tailored, ongoing inventory program for your company. We save you inventory holding costs by stocking your custom or standard stock items in one of our warehouses for immediate release as needed. Stocked items are available for same-day shipping.

edge of a panel with the end of the shoe – place the panels so that they Span PanelGrip™ Shoe Moulding butt joints to assist in alignment.

5. INSERT PANELGRIP HavesomeoneholdthepanelinplacewhileyouinsertthealuminumPanelGrip™ mechanismintoplaceontheoppositesideoftheglassinalignmentwiththePlastic Isolators.Makesurethattheblack,plasticpadonthePanelGrip™ is facing the glass.

6. TIGhTEN PANELGRIP Usingthe3/16”hexheadwrenchprovided,tightenthecapscrewonthePanelGrip™ mechanism.Whiletight-ening,theplasticpadwillbreakawayfromthealumi-numastheunitexpands.

7. CONFIRM ALIGNMENT AND TIGhTEN Confirmalignmentandmakeadjustmentspriortofinaltighteningwhichwillcompressandlockthepanelintoplace.Remember, PanelGrip™ is self-centering and self- plumbing. Make sure you have properly plumbed the shoe as noted in Step 1.

Onceyouhaveconfirmedposition,usethe3/16”hexheadwrenchtomakethePanelGrip™ Cap Screwsnug-tight, then continue tightening for one quarter turn – 10-15ft/lbsoftorque.RepeatonallotherPanelGrip™

unitstosecurethepanelinposition.

8. SEAL TOP OF ShOE Onceglassisproperlypositioned,sealgapatthetopof

the PanelGrip™ Shoe Moulding using one of the three Gasketstylesnotedbelow.Sprayglasscleanerontoglass to facilitate insertion of gaskets.

•V50-0003 is used without cladding •V50-0004 is inserted between cladding and glass •V50-0005 istapedtotheundersideofthetoplipofthe cladding.

9. REMOVAL OF GLASS Shouldyouneedtoremoveapanel,thiscanbedonesimplybylooseningthePanelGrip™ Cap Screw.

Note: The Cap Screw included in the PanelGrip™

contains a pressure-sensitive locking compound that insures the screw remains tight over time and through cyclic loading. Each insertion and removal cycle diminishes its locking capacity. Individual results will vary but four cycles is the typical life span of the compound.

1. Attachaluminumshoemoldingtosubstratewith1/2”stainlesssteelcapscrewsorboltson12”centers.Note:Aluminummustnotbeplacedindirectcontactwithconcreteordissimilarmetals.Useappropriatepaintorprimer.

2. Resilientsettingblocksof4”to6”lengthsprovidesupportandcushionforglasspanelsasthe1/2”temperedfloatglassisinsertedintothebasesection.Settingblocksshouldbeplacedatpoints1/4and3/4ofthelengthofthepanelfromtheend.A1/4”vinylspacershouldbeinsertedbetweenadjoiningglasspanelstopreventglasstoglasscontact.Alignandplumbglasspanels.Fillbasewithexpansivecementornon-shrinking,non-metallicgroutofchoiceatthediscretionofthespecifier/fabricator.

3. Rigidprotectiveinsertprotectsthetopedgeoftheglasspanelandfitsinsidethehandrail -siliconeorclearadhesivecanbeused toaddfinishingsealbetweenglassandhandrail.Internalspliceconnectorsaredesignedforend-to-endconnectionofrailingsectionsandcorners.Endcapsfitsecurelyintotoprailforfinishingaccent,andcanbeweldedorfastenedwithadhesiveorscrews.

4. Coverexposedbasewithcladdingmaterialtomatchtoprail.Siliconeortwo-waytapecanbeusedtoadherecladding.

4. MorseLimitedWarranty.

a. ConformitywithSpecifications.MorsewarrantsthatitsstandardproductsconformtothespecificationsincludedincurrentMorseproductdescriptions,brochuresandcatalogs(dimensions,materialsandtestedcapacities)withinindustry-standardtolerances.Astocustom-madeproductsandstandardorregularlystockedproductsalteredbyMorseatBuyer’sdirection,Morsewarrantsthatsuchproductsalsoconform(withinindustry-standardtolerances)tothewrittenspecificationsincludedwiththisInvoice.

b. FreedomfromDefects.Further,Morsewarrantsthatitsproductswillbefreefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanship,undernormaluseandservice,foraperiodofoneyearfromtheinvoicedate.

c. WarrantyAppliesOnlytoBuyer.ThislimitedwarrantyappliesonlytotheBuyer,nottoanyremoteconsumersoranyotherpersonsorentitiesotherthantheBuyer.

d. SoleRemedyisReplacementofDefectiveProduct.Buyer’ssoleremedyunderthelimitedwarrantyisreplacementwithoutchargeofthedefectiveproduct,asmorefullydetailedbelow.WhenthereturnofdefectiveproductsisauthorizedbyMorse,itwillreimburseBuyerforthecostofstandardshippingtoreturndefectiveproductstoMorse,anditwillshipreplacementproductstoBuyeratMorse’sexpense.Anyexpensesinvolvedintheremovalorreinstalla-tionofdefectiveproductsarenotcoveredbythiswarranty.

e. “MorseLimitedWarranty”Defined.Theaboveprovisions(sub-paragraphsa-d)arereferredtohereafterasthe“MorseLimitedWarranty.”

ExCEPTFORTHEMORSELIMITEDWARRANTYSTATEDABOVE,MORSEMAkESNOOTHERExPRESSORIMPLIEDWARRANTIESORREPRESENTATIONS.THEMORSELIMITEDWARRANTYDOESNOTINCLUDEAWARRANTYOFMERCHANTABILITYORFITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSE,ANDTHEDURATIONOFANYSUCHWARRANTYOFMERCHANTABILITYORFITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSETHATMAYBEIMPOSEDBYLAWSHALLBETHESAMEASTHEMORSELIMITEDWARRANTYANDTOTALLYExCLUDEDTHEREAFTER.SomestatesintheUnitedStatesdonotallowlimitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheabovelimitationmaynotapplytoyou.Thiswarrantygivesyouspecificlegalrights,andyoumayhaveotherrights,whichvary from state to state.

5. MorseLimitedWarrantyExcludesConsequentialDamages. THEREPLACEMENTOFDEFECTIVEPRODUCTS,ASDETAILEDBELOW,SHALLBETHESOLEREMEDYFORTHEBUYERANDTHESOLELIABILITYOFMORSEFORANYBREACHOFWARRANTY.UNDERALLCIRCUMSTANCES,MORSESHALLNOTBELIABLEFORTHELOSSOFTIME,LOSSOFUSE,COSTSTOREMOVEORREPLACEPRODUCTS,ExPEDITEDSHIPPINgCOSTS,INCONVENIENCEOROTHERINCIDENTAL,CONSEqUENTIALORINDIRECTDAMAgES,INCLUDINg,BUTNOTLIMITEDTO,LOSSORDAMAgETOOTHERPERSONALPROPERTYORLOSSOFREVENUE,ALLEgEDLYCAUSEDBYADEFECTIVEMORSEPRODUCT.SomestatesintheUnitedStatesdonotallowtheexclusionorlimitationofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,sotheabovelimitationorexclusionmaynotapplytoyou.TheMorseLimitedWarrantygivesyouspecificlegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveotherrightsthatvaryfromstatetostate.

6. ReplacementProductsCoveredforBalanceofOne-YearWarrantyPeriod.IfallegedlydefectiveproductsarereturnedtoMorseandreplacedundertheMorseLimitedWarranty,theyshallbecomethepropertyofMorse.Thereplacementofproductswillnotextendthetermofthewarranty,butthereplacedproductwillbecoveredforthebalanceoftheoriginalwarrantyperiod.

7. AnyProductReturnMustHavePriorReturnAuthorization.

a. Non-DefectiveProducts:Morsewillacceptreturnsofstandard,non-defectiveproductsonlyin“as-originally-shipped”condition.Morsewillnotacceptreturnsofnon-defectiveproductsthatarecustom-made,alteredbyMorsetoBuyer’sspecifications,alteredbyBuyer,ornotcurrentlystockedbyMorse.Suchreturnsrequireareturnmerchandiseauthorizationandaresubjecttoa20%re-stockingcharge;otherwise,thereturnedproductswillbere-shippedtotheBuyerattheBuyer’sexpense.

b. DefectiveProducts:CreditfordefectiveproductswillnotbeissuedwithoutMorse’sreturnauthorization.Toobtainauthorization,returnrequestsmustbemailed,faxedore-mailedtoouroffices,andtheymustincludeanitemizedlistofproductstobereturned,thereasonsforreturn,andthedateandnumberoftheMorseinvoice.

8. NoDutytoUpgrade.Morsereservestherighttoimproveitsproductsthroughchangesindesign,materialsormanufacturingprocesses,withoutbeingobligatedtoincorporatesuchchangesinproductspreviouslymanufacturedbyit,ortonotifyBuyersorsubsequentusersofitspreviouslymanufacturedproductsofsuchlaterchanges.

9. WarrantyDisputeProcedures.AnycourtactionconcerningtheTerms,including,butnotlimitedto,theMorseLimitedWarranty,mustbefiledinthecourtslocatedinkingCounty,Washington,thelawsofwhich(excludingitschoiceoflawrules)shallbeappliedtoanyclaimarisingundertheTerms,including,butnotlimitedto,theMorseLimitedWarranty.ShouldthecourtdeterminethatMorsewasthesubstantiallyprevailingparty,BuyeragreestoreimburseMorseforitsreasonableexpenses,includingattorneys’andexperts’fees,incurredindefendingagainstBuyer’sclaims.

MorseIndustrieswarrantsthatforaperiodofthree(3)yearsfollowingthedateofsaletoMorseIndus-triescustomer,ourshowerdoorhingesarewarrantedagainstmaterialdefectsanddefectsinworkman-ship.AllwarrantyclaimsaresubjecttoinspectionbyMorseIndustriespriortoprovidingaremedyforthewarrantyclaim.

ThiswarrantywillnotapplyifafterinspectionbyMorseIndustries,itisdeterminedthattheshowerdoorhingeshavebeeninstalledandmaintainedinamannerthatisnotinconformitywiththeinstructionsandguidelinessetforthbyMorseIndustriesforproperinstallationandmaintenance.

MorseIndustriesresponsibilitytoprovidearemedyunderthiswarrantyshallbelimitedtoeitherarefundofthepurchaseprice,ortoprovideareplacementofashowerdoorhinge.TherefundorreplacementshallconstitutethelimitofMorseIndustriesliabilityandobligationforanymaterialdefectordefectinworkmanshipinashowerdoorhinge.

Thiswarrantyisexclusive,andMorseIndustriesmakesnootherwarranty,expressorimplied,includingwithoutlimitation,anyimpliedwarrantyormerchantabilityorfitnessforaparticularpurpose.InnoeventshallMorseIndustriesbeliableunderanylegaltheory(includingbutnotlimitedtocontract,negligence,strictliabilityintort,orwarrantyofanykind)foranyindirect, special,incidental,consequential,orexemplarydamages(includingbutnotlimitedtolostprofits).
