The Morrisville Chamber has a culture of caring like no other business organization. This culture helps us excel in delivering value to our members. Our ability to effectively connect and nurture businesses as well as provide top notch programming makes our organization stand out in a landscape filled with leads groups, networking organizations and marketing mediums vying for business. In 2013, we launched the Morrisville Innovation Foundation to better deliver economic and community development programs. This past July, the Foundation received approval for its IRS tax-exampt status, which means sponsorships and contributions your business or you individually make to the Foundation are considered charitable contributions versus a business expense. The Morrisville Chamber’s culture of caring includes speaking up on behalf of business. The Morrisville Chamber takes positions on ordinances and legislative issues to keep our region desirable for business. We also partner with state and regional organizations to attract larger employers to choose Western Wake County. Why is that important? Larger companies paying higher-than-average wages means more business opportunity for B2B businesses and new customers for B2C businesses. Like most member organizations, less than half of our organization’s revenue comes from dues and we rely on sponsorships from our community-focused businesses like yours to execute our strategic plan and deliver that value to all our members and the community at large. The Chamber’s Coffee and Connections is one of the Chamber’s most successful programs. It combines a structured networking group with short presentations on networking and sales-related topics. Coffee & Connections is monthly from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Attendance is 40 to 50.
