Morphology is the identification analysis, and description of

the structure of a given language’s morphemes and other

linguistic units, such as root words, affixes, part of speech,

intonations and stresses, or implied context.

It is clear that in most languages, if not all, word can ne relatedto others word by rules (grammars).

For xample!

nglish spea"ers recogni#e that the words dog and dogs are

closely related, differentiated only by the plurality morpheme

$%&'. &pea"ers of nglish, a fissional language, recogni#e

these relations from their tacit "nowledge of nglish’s rules of

words formation.
