WPI Students Complete HUA Requirement with
• Three Humanities and Arts Courses taken at WPI. Any three courses successfully completed makes a WPI student eligible to go to Morocco, as depth and breadth requirements are met in Rabat.
• Course in Arabic language. Level of instruction depends on previous Arabic language experience.
• An “Informed” Memoir or Blog entitled“People and Places of Morocco” about weekend travels to places like Casablanca, Rabat, Fes, Marrakech, the Sahara.
• Inquiry Seminar Research Topic of Your Choice Concerning Moroccan History, Culture, Society . . . (Morocco HU3900)
Both IQP and HUA students study the basics of written and spoken Arabic in the Moroccan dialect of Darija.

The Cooperative des Tisseuses d’Ain Leuh was founded in 1979 by forty women.
The textiles of the Cooperative des Tisseuses d’Ain Leuh are known throughout Morocco for their high quality and fine craftsmanship.
