    SCANIA (SCVb.ST)Scania returns to five-day work weekScania will return to a five-day work week for many of theemployees in April. With a high demand in Brazil listed as a keyreason. However, the final assembly plant in Sdertlje and cabassembly at Oskarshamn, which employs 2,000 employees willcontinue to have a shorter work week. Scania has applied the four-day work week since the summer of 2009 and has reduced thenumber of employees by 3000, of which 2000 are substitutes.(Dagens industri, 17 March)

    ASTRAZENECA (AZN.ST)700 loses their jobs in LundAstraZeneca is letting 200 researchers move from Lund in Mlndal.

    Thus it is clear that 700 employees in Lund lose their jobs sources toDagens Industri claims two weeks after the shocking announcementon the closure in Lund. "There are substantial synergies bycombining research in respiratory and inflammation from Lund withour operations in Mlndal," says Gunnar Olson, global researchdirector of AstraZeneca. Companies in the nearby town of Ideonwant to take over part of AstraZeneca's operations in Lund. "We areinterested in taking on interesting projects," says Svein Mathisen,CEO of Biovent.     A handful of stock option transactions for approximately SEK 4m fora few months instead of the many transactions of SEK 630m overtwo years. It's what three former Carnegie traders are prosecuted forin the affair which was the origin of Carnegie's fall. Yesterdayeconomic crime prosecutor Yngve Rydberg handed in the lawsuitagainst three former traders at Carnegie. "We chose some year-endand some month-ends.
