    21/28

    Speak, O Lord, as we come to You

    To receive the food of Your Holy Word. Take Your truth, plant it deep in us;

    Shape and fashion us in Your likeness,

    That the light of Christmight be seen today

    In our acts of love

    and our deeds of faith. Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us

     All Your purposes for Your glory.

  • 8/9/2019 Morning Gathering - March 1, 2015

    22/28

    Teach us, Lord, full obedience, Holy reverence, true humility;

    Test our thoughts and our attitudes

    In the radiance of Your purity.

    Cause our faith to rise;

    cause our eyes to see

    Your majestic love and authority.

    Words of pow'r that can never fail—

    Let their truth prevail over unbelief.

  • 8/9/2019 Morning Gathering - March 1, 2015

    23/28

    Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds;

    Help us grasp the heightsof Your plans for us

    Truths unchanged from the dawn of time

    That will echo down through eternity.

     And by grace we'll stand on Your promises,

     And by faith we'll walk as You walk with us.

    Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built

     And the earth is filled with Your glory.

    Speak, O Lord  W and M--Keith Getty and Stuart Townend

    No list of sins I have not done,  No list of virtues I pursue,

    No list of those I am not like,

    Can earn myself a place with You. O God! Be merciful to me—

    I am a sinner through and through!

    My only hope of righteousness Is not in me, but only You.

  • 8/9/2019 Morning Gathering - March 1, 2015

    26/28

    No humble dress, no fervent prayer, No lifted hands, no tearful song,

    No recitation of the truth

    Can justify a single wrong. My righteousness is Jesus' life,

    My debt was paid by Jesus' death,

    My weary load was borne by Him  And he alone can give me rest.

  • 8/9/2019 Morning Gathering - March 1, 2015

    27/28

    No separation from the world,

    No work I do, no gift I give,

    Can cleanse my conscience, cleanse

    my hands;

    I cannot cause my soul to live.

    But Jesus died and rose again—

    The pow'r of death is overthrown!

    My God is merciful to me

     And merciful in Christ alone.

  • 8/9/2019 Morning Gathering - March 1, 2015

    But Jesus died and rose again—

    The pow'r of death is overthrown!

    My God is merciful to me And merciful in Christ alone.
