O worship the King, all glorious aboveO gratefully sing

His wonderful loveOur Shield and Defender,

the Ancient of DaysPavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise

O tell of His might, O sing of His grace

Whose robe is the light and canopy space

His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form

And dark is His path on the wings of the storm

You alone are the matchless KingTo You alone be all majestyYour glories and wonders, what tongue can recite?

You breathe in the air, You shine in the light

O measureless might, ineffable love

While angels delight to worship above

Thy mercies how tender, how firm to the endOur Maker, Defender,

Redeemer, and Friend

You alone are the matchless KingTo You alone be all majestyYour glories and wonders, what tongue can recite?

You breathe in the air, You shine in the light.

You alone are the matchless KingTo You alone be all majestyYour glories and wonders, what tongue can recite?

You breathe in the air, You shine in the light

Shine in the light. You shine in the light.

O worship the King, all glorious aboveO gratefully sing

His wonderful loveOur Shield and Defender,

the Ancient of DaysPavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise

Lead on, O King eternal,The day of march has come;

Henceforth in fields of conquestThy tents shall be our home:

Thro' days of preparationThy grace has made us strong,

And now, O King Eternal,We lift our battle song.

So Lead on,lead on, King of Heaven.

My light and my salvation,Your faithfulness endures.

O Lead on,lead us to Your kingdom.Through joy or tribulation,

we follow You,we follow You alone.

Lead on, O King Eternal,Till sin's fierce war shall cease,

And holiness shall whisperThe sweet amen of peace;

For not with swords' loud clashing,nor roll of stirring drums;

With deeds of love and mercyThe heav'nly kingdom comes.

So Lead on,lead on, King of Heaven.

My light and my salvation,Your faithfulness endures.

O Lead on,lead us to Your kingdom.Through joy or tribulation,

we follow You,we follow You alone.

Lead on, O King eternal,We follow not with fears;

For gladness breaks the morningWhere'er Thy face appears;Thy cross is lifted o'er us;

We journey in its light:The crown awaits the conquest;

Lead on, O God of might.

So Lead on,lead on, King of Heaven.

My light and my salvation,Your faithfulness endures.

O Lead on,lead us to Your kingdom.Through joy or tribulation,

we follow You,we follow You alone.

So Lead on,lead on, King of Heaven.

My light and my salvation,Your faithfulness endures.

O Lead on,lead us to Your kingdom.Through joy or tribulation,

we follow You,we follow You alone.

No list of sins I have not done,No list of virtues I pursue,

No list of those I am not like,Can earn myself a place with You.

O God! Be merciful to me—I am a sinner through and through!

My only hope of righteousnessIs not in me, but only You.

No humble dress, no fervent prayer,No lifted hands, no tearful song,

No recitation of the truthCan justify a single wrong.

My righteousness is Jesus' life,My debt was paid by Jesus' death,My weary load was borne by Him

And he alone can give me rest.

No separation from the world,No work I do, no gift I give,

Can cleanse my conscience, cleanse my hands;

I cannot cause my soul to live.But Jesus died and rose again—The pow'r of death is overthrown!

My God is merciful to meAnd merciful in Christ alone.

But Jesus died and rose again—The pow'r of death is overthrown!

My God is merciful to meAnd merciful in Christ alone.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

Romans 5:1-5, 6-10

My hope is built on nothing lessThan Jesus’ blood and righteousness;

I dare not trust the sweetest frame,But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;All other ground is sinking sand,All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness hides His lovely face,I rest on His unchanging grace;In every high and stormy gale,

My anchor holds within the veil.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;All other ground is sinking sand,All other ground is sinking sand.

His oath, His covenant, His blood,Support me in the whelming flood;When all around my soul gives way,

He then is all my hope and stay.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;All other ground is sinking sand,All other ground is sinking sand.

When he shall comewith trumpet sound,

O may I then in him be found;dressed in his righteousness alone,

faultless to standbefore the throne.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;All other ground is sinking sand,All other ground is sinking sand.

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy graceStreams of mercy, never ceasing call for songs of loudest praise

Teach me some melodious sonnet sung by flaming tongues above

Praise the mount, I'm fixed upon itMount of Thy redeeming love

I was lost in utter darkness 'til You came and rescued meI was bound by all my sin when Your love came and set me free

Now my soul can sing a new song, now my heart has found a home

Now Your grace is always with meAnd I'll never be alone

Come, Thou Fount, Come, Thou King;

Come, Thou precious Prince of PeaceHear Your bride,to You we sing,

Come, Thou Fount of our blessing

O, to grace, how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be

Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to TheeProne to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love

Here's my heart, Lord, take and seal it

Seal it for Thy courts above

Come, Thou Fount, Come, Thou King;

Come, Thou precious Prince of PeaceHear Your bride,to You we sing,

Come, Thou Fount of our blessing

Come, Thou Fount, Come, Thou King;
