MORINGA CHUTNEY The sneakiest way to add a superfood like moringa into your daily meals ! Ingredients: (For chutney) 1 tsp cold pressed coconut oil Green chili (as per taste) ½ cup moringa (dums�ck) leaves washed ½ cup grated coconut (preferably fresh) 1 tbsp tamarind 1 tsp himalayan pink salt 1 tsp organic jaggery For tempering: 1 tsp cold pressed coconut oil ½ tsp mustard seeds ½ tsp cumin ½ tsp urad dal ½ tsp hing (asafoe�da) 3 to 5 clean curry leaves Instruc�ons for preparing chutney : 1. In a hea�ng pan, add oil. Once oil is heated, add green chili as per needs 2. Add clean washed moringa leaves 3. Saute well for 2-3 mins as the leaves start wil�ng. Do not over cook 4. Transfer this mixture to a blender 5. Add grated coconut, small ball size tamarind, salt and jaggery 6. Add li�le water and blend into a fine paste. To prepare Tempering : 1. In a small heated pan, add oil 2. Once oil is heated, add mustard, cumin, urad dal, hing and curry leaves and saute well �ll it splu�ers 3. Finally, add the tempering to the blended chutney. 4. Enjoy the chutney with ro�, idli, dosa or steamed rice and ghee. Notes : Moringa is rich source of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
