Police will today speak to a womanfound in a disoriented state with head inju-ries on a beach at Kawhia on Saturdaymorning.

The 34-year-old Kihikihi woman wasfound about 11am by members of the pub-lic and later flown by air ambulance toWaikato Hospital.

Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance pilotSimon Lewis said the woman had been as-saulted around the head but he did notknow if she had other injuries.
