The length of the foreign study programmes varies from 3 to 12 months. Internships are possible from two months

The 28 EU member states, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and the former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia

You may apply for an Erasmus+ at any point during your study programme.

The level of the scholarship depends on the destination country

A one-off payment of €1,250 as a contribution to your study expenses

You are a full-time student at a Dutch university or university of applied sciences.

You are going abroad for at least of 3 months, where you will learn earn a minimum of 15 ECTS

Your study programme, internship or research project is in a country outside the EEA.

Holland Scholarship Programme

Each year, the ministries of education of both countries

make 25 scholarships available for study or research

in China and the Netherlands

For talented students who wish to study at a foreign university for a year during or after their study programme at at least bachelor's, master's or PhD level.

The deadline for the next application round is 1 February 2016

EP-Nuffic mediates for scholarships for thirteen countries

You are a final-year university or university of applied sciences student, a recent graduate or a university researcher

You have Dutch nationality

You are commencing your study programme and no older than 35 years

For successful candidates who earn

a doctorate in History, Economics or Law

30 scholarships each year for Dutch students

Deadline for the 2016–2017 academic year 31 January 2016

A scholarship includes:
