MOFD Exterior Hazard Control Standards

• Adopted in 2014 and applies to all properties in the District • Grass and weeds mowed to less than 3” • Trees limbed to 6’ • 3’ horizontal 15’ vertical clearance from roadway • Brush and shrubs thinned to prevent continuous fuel bed and ladder fuels • Combustible materials cleared from around structures • Large properties (3+ acres) 30’ perimeter strip and interior fire breaks
