Hello everyone, our monthly work parties are doing well but it is thesame members that are committed totaking care of our Lodge home. Everymember should take an interest in theappearance of the Lodge and more participation in the work parties wouldmean more can be accomplished. Thekitchen is almost completed but it isan ongoing cleaning process. A lot of time was spent to organize under thecenter island. If you are part of akitchen crew please return the itemsthat you use to their proper place. Thenext work party will be on Sunday Oct4th at 9AM. I hope to see you there.Don't forget to attend the JohnnyCharro Show and dinner on Oct 3rd.Tickets are on sale and going fast.I hope everyone who attended the Get-A-Way weekend in Cocoa Beach hada great time. I heard there were about300 Moose on the loose at the event.Sometimes it seems that we don'tmake enough time for our families andourselves so we need to enjoy it whenwe can.
Fraternally,
Victor (Cricket) White, Governor
Yes, it was a wonderful time in Cocoa- Mike and I plan to go next year. Thewonderful thing about being a moosemember is that you get to meet somany wonderful people from all over!We had an absolutely fantastic time -hope that even more people will de-cide to go next year.
October is just full of fun stuff to do!We have Johnny Charro on the 3rd(have you got YOUR tickets yet???) Itis going to be a lot of really goodsouthern food and great entertainment!Talk to the stewards if you haven’t gotyours yet. We also have the Work Party on the 4th—trying to get theLodge clean and spiffy - if we all helpit makes it a lot easier! Yeah I canhear you - that’s fun? Actually we dohave fun and feel good about getting
things done. The kitchen has beenmost of the focus but there has also been bathroom cleaning and dustingamong other things. We need your help - please try to come out. We havea Potato Bar on the 18th, startingaround half time during the Bucsgame (3 till 5). The FBMA state con-vention is at Tampa October 22nd thruthe 25th. Del & Gary will here to rock the place on both Friday and Saturdaynights. We will have a Super buffetfor only $9.00 on both nights. Again, delicious food and great entertain-ment! Come and party with membersfrom all over. The fun keeps goingthru the end of the month with our Annual (adult) Halloween party onFriday the 30th, and our Annual(children's) party on the 31st at 2 pm.As always, we need help at all our functions, please let one of the Offi-cers know if you can help. The Florida Bermuda Moose AssocState Convention will be held inTampa Oct 22nd thru the 25th. Onceagain many volunteers will be neededto help in all areas of the Lodge opera-tion. Those areas are cooks, kitchenhelp, van drivers, door duty, table setup with covers and place settings, clean up, trash and anything elseneeded. I will be asking everyone thathelped at previous conventions and
also looking for some new members to participate. If I miss anyone whowants to help please feel free to con-tact me for any position you choose. Iwill not be available to work in theLodge as I will be compelled to attendall meetings and functions held at theconvention. I will be representing In-terbay Tampa 912 and FBMA District19 as the incoming president. Fraternally,
Ed Lessard, Administrator
Our selection for this Moose of thMonth is a relatively new memb joining the fraternity in February 0He used his expertise in painting bhelping choose the proper colors paint the building and trim. Recenthe rented a bush hog to cut down anremove all the over growth along theast perimeter and the tree like weedthat had grown near the dumpste Now we can see down to the low parking lot. Thank Bro LaSchwartz for the money and time donated to clean up the area.
Fraternally,
Victor (Cricket) White, Governor
