FCC EXAM PREP MOODLE WEBSITE COMPLETION

FCC Exam Preparation website offers paid courses to its clients. The company runs a store integrated with Moodle.

Another developer started on developing the solution for company but resigned the contract before completion. The tasks which were delivered to me were:

1. Develop a payment processing system for Moodle which could handle initial as well as monthly payments for the courses.2. Develop a help desk system integrated into Moodle.3. Develop training tutorials4. Develop custom blocks for different purposes.5. Develop custom forms to be used with Moodle.

COACHBOX MOODLE DEVELOPMENT AND CUSTOMIZED COURSES

Coachbox is a training portal for coaches, trainers and Entrepreneurs. It offers 2 courses. One of which is free course. The website is a moodle based site but its look and feel is changed to such an extent that it does not look to be a Moodle site.

Theme has been heavily customized. Code has been touched to create a different look and feel. Main features include:

1. login block has been redesigned.2. Course description and course view pages have been redesigned.

3. Infusion Soft CRM has been integrated into Moodle to manage contacts.4. Welcome Emails have been beautified and customized.5. Regular web style has been applied in Courses.6. Separate themes have been developed for each course.7. Permissions have been modified as per requirements of resource usage.8. Paypal payment gateway has been integrated for course payments.

Further customization is under process.

BARE INTERNATIONAL (MOODLE LMS)

This is a small project for Bare International. The project included:Customize themeCreate RoleOther little tasks for assistance.Later client returned twice with theme enhancements and group course enrollments.

SEB-EMMAUS (MOODLE DEVELOPMENT WITH BLOGS & COURSES)

The Project was to develop a religious website. The website is to deliver a site where religious teachings will be taught. Blogs will be used to deliver the content. The Project included the following:

1) Installation of e-learning site (Moodle) & Theme development.2) Development of specialized Home, Contact Us & About Us pages.3) Development of person level & course level blogs with specialized design4) Development of three course structures5) Development of theme graphics & Intro video

OMNIKRON UNIVERSITY (MOODLE+DRUPAL+INFUSIONSOFT)

This is a training management portal. The project involved integration of Drupal, Infusionsoft, Moodle, & Ubercart. My role on the project was to provide Moodle related support, coding & installations and perform QA of code & UI developed by other team members.The tasks performed included:1) Development of Moodle related code for a custom calendar2) Application of Infusionsoft Tags from UI in Drupal3) Dynamic user creation & course enrollment in Moodle4) Bulk Import of users5) Code to heavily interact with Backend6) Synchronization of Infusionsoft & Drupal Databases7) Quality Assurance of Code & functionality of development and bug tracking.8) Installation, configuration & migration of Drupal & Moodle instances.

PAKTALEEM MOODLE LMS WITH 15 COURSES

This is a fully functional Distance Learning website. It is a multilingual site. Theme has been customized. Over 100 courses have been developed for the site. These courses include screen casts, lecture notes, quizzes, web and database resources.

Key Features:1. Phone-based (SMS) self enrollment has been developed for the site along with notifications through SMS.2. Site has been set up to provide free access and paid access courses.3. Course material has been developed including Lectures, Quizzes, Assignments, Notes etc.4. Live Chat support has been developed for the site.5. Live Classes and collaboration features were also developed.6. Google integration was setup including the use of Google Email for organizations.7. The site is being maintained at present including generation of reports, taking backups, managing emails, user management and course maintenance.

THE BA COACH ACADEMY

The Business Analyst Coach is a site providing CBAP Prep Course, CCBA Prep Courses, Exam question bank for CBAP, CCBA and Exam simulations for CCBA / CBAP. The courses required a complex structure for question bank. The questions needed to be categorized on multiple characteristics/ways. Then the quizzes needed to be created from those categories as per requirements.

1) Proper Question bank structure was developed and assistance was provided in implementation.2) A quiz plugin was developed which allowed generation of tag based reports.3) aMember was installed & customized as a payment solution4) aMember + Moodle 2 single sign on integration was developed.5) Affiliate & coupon setup was implemented.6) Certificate generation feature after successful course completion has been developed.

TESTBANK.WS (BI-LINGUAL BI-DIRECTIONAL MOODLE SITE)

The project was to develop a bilingual site with customized theme and other code customization. The project involved development of a front page slider, a new block and other modifications. Following features have been developed for the site:

1) A front page slider where admin can add, edit or delete slides. Slides can have title, description, background image and a link.2) A block was developed to display recent 10 posts of general forums of any course.3) Forum pages were customized to display additional information. 4) Custom theme was developed to show the content in both Arabic & English. The location of different elements was managed to change according to selection of language.5) Permissions were defined according to requirement of client for different areas of site.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING MOODLE WEBSITE & COURSE

The site is dedicated to training of Defensive Driving. Following features were provided:

Users can enroll using their email.Paypal has been integrated so that when users pay on paypal, they are allowed access to course.User watches a video. Then user takes a test. Once, the test has been started, user can watch video no more. If user takes passing marks, s/he is granted with a certificate.

Theme was customized.

FITNANCE FITNESS TRAINING COLLEGE MOODLE WEBSITE AND COURSES

Fitnance College is a fitness training college funded by Austrailian Government. Initially, college had been conducting fitness courses on campus but now shifted to online courses.

During the project:

1. Moodle was installed, configured and customized.2. Level III & Level IV fitness training course were developed.3. Fitnance theme was implemented in Moodle to provide students a consistent look and feel.

4. More than 50 assignments were developed from docs & pdfs to be used in course.5. Live video streaming services have been provided.

Now, we are hosting & maintaining Learning Management System of Fitnance College, Australia on our servers. We are offering daily backups and maintaining mirror site to ensure 99.99% up time.

DEVELOPMENT OF 10 LEVEL IV TRAINING MOODLE COURSES

LearnMe is an Austrailian Education Company providing Certification Courses. I have developed 2 Level IV Certification Courses. 8 Courses are being Developed. Courses are developed from Word Documents.

Key Features:

1. Developed HTML web pages from word documents2. Created and Imported question bank into Moodle3. Developed Customized Assignments.

GETAHELP.NET MOODLE WEBSITE

GetaHelp.net provides coaching services to students online. It provides students access to teachers online and get their help with the comfort of their home.

Key Features:

1. Site wide Email has been implemented to let users email to course users.2. Course Payment through bank or money order has been implemented.3. Teachers can take live classes which include screen sharing, whiteboard and application sharing feature.4. Theme was customized as per client's needs 5. Arabic and English language was installed.6. Assistance in course development and Moodle Administration was provided for three months.

PTTRAIN FITNESS TRAINING COLLEGE MOODLE WEBSITE AND COURSES

PTTrain College is a fitness training college funded by Austrailian Government. Initially, college had been conducting fitness courses on campus but now shifted to online courses.

ENGLISH & MEDICINE - A MOODLE COURSE

English and Medicine is a medical website. The website runs an English language course for doctors and nurses. Initially the course was a simple html course and there was no way to store student results and track them.

I developed that course in Moodle so that student progress may be tracked. Course Features are:1. Created course main page with links to all the 12 sections.2. Developed 80+ Exercises and a Final Test. 3. Audio lectures have been embedded into sections.4. Created hundreds plus CLOZE questions and assignments.5. Developed a Glossary of terms

BEST PRACTICE MANAGED SOLUTIONS (MOODLE CMS DEVELOPMENT WITH CUSTOM MODULES)Best Practice Managed Solutions is an enterprise providing training & consultancy to 1000+ construction companies in Australia. Currently, company is offering 600+ courses for construction industry. Current project was to develop their Course Management System to cater company offered courses.

The solution (Safe-T Induct) offers its users to generate training needs analysis reports. These reports indicate the training which a person needs. The system further allows its users to take training automatically or request training in the areas which a users needs. Further, system allows Human resource Managers of

clients companies to launch training for their employees and keep track of their progress.

The system automatically generates certificates for the students when they complete a training.

System allows: Student reports Certificate issuance by administrator Help desk ticketing system Live Chat Support WebCam capturing during training Training Program creation

System wide email facility Conditional course completion Custom notificationand much more unique features.... which you will not find in standard Moodle.We are still developing the project even further.

Overall, a highly customized Moodle project with new modules developed specifically for the client. In the second part of project, I shall be administering the site and adding further features to system.
