Writing Group Each one of us has lived a different life from everyone else, each of us has had experi-ences no one else has had, and you might enjoy getting together with others who are also thinking back. To write, if not the entire story of your life, at least to put down some memorable experiences, to see how perhaps they add up to a whole.
Or you may have a totally different reason for writing something, maybe a different story, maybe a poem. Any-body up for a writing class?
See you Tuesdays at 10:00am.
Tia Chi
Tia-Chi is a doctor-recommended form of exercise/stretching. It has many health benefits: increases flexibility, lowers choles-terol, retards Alzheimer’s Disease and im-proves blood flow. Also, it improves focus, concentration, invigorates the brain, lowers blood sugar and helps eliminate stress.
Studies show people taking Tai-Chi reduce risk of falling by 48%.
Join us Wednesday mornings at 9:45am with Darci Bobb

Foot Clinic
Healthy feet can help you to keep doing what you enjoy doing. The human foot is a marvel of biomechanical engineering that most of us take for granted until the system fails or breaks down. The average person will walk the equivalent of twice around the world in a life-time, which is a long time on your feet. Keep your feet in tip top shape, make an appoint-ment with licensed podiatrist.
Bring a photo ID and your insurance card. Ap-pointments are required to see the doctor. Ap-pointments are still available for Wednesday, December 23rd. Call the Montrose Township Senior Center at 810-639-2822 for more infor-mation or to make an appointment with Dr. Gold.

Did you know…
*That “Xmas” stems from Greece. The Greek “X” is a
symbol for Christ.
*Santa Claus was a real Saint. He lived in Myra in the
300s. Myra is in what’s now Turkey. The German
name for Saint Nicholas is Sankt Niklaus.
*The first artificial Christmas Tree wasn’t a tree at all.
It was created out of goose feathers that were dyed.
*The French gave the biggest Christmas present ever in
1886. It was the Statue of Liberty, and they gave it to
the United States of America. (The French have one
too, a smaller one, in Paris.)
