Ø Two days were utilized and around 60 bags of litter were collected. Emphasis was placed on the Sunnyside Area due to recent community surveys.

Criminal Investigations Division – Lt. Eric Pressley Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) were assigned thirty-two new cases in

February. Investigators were able to successfully clear seven cases during the month with two coming by

arrest. Several of the more significant events for the month are as follows:

• Det. Arterburn was assigned eleven new cases in February. He signed six search warrants and five arrest warrants during the month.

• Det. Arterburn was assigned as the lead investigator on a shooting incident at Oakland Place Apartments. He has signed warrants on the two individuals suspected in the shooting. One of the suspects is in jail in Spartanburg on un-related charges.

• Det. Bash was assigned six cases and successfully cleared three. He also spent considerable time assisting Det. Arterburn with the shooting incident at Oakland.

• Det. Hemric cleared by arrest a CSC case that originated in January. The suspect was arrested in Beaufort and brought back to Greer.

• Investigators were called back in to work for a total of forty-seven hours in February. • VA Weibel was assigned forty-two cases requiring victim follow-up in February. She also

spent nineteen hours assisting victims in all courts. • Crime Analyst Ellis assisted patrol at their request with five separate crime analysis. Her

offender analysis brought about a total of forty-five days in jail for five suspects. • Vice served twelve arrest and five warrants. • Vice made cases in areas two and three recovering guns, cocaine, crack, and marijuana.
