We have 2 order dates left for traditional gift cards before school dismisses for Christmas break. Monday December 3 at 8:00 AM and Monday December 10 at 8:00 AM. Our Gift Card give-a-way promotion runs through Dec. 10. For every $200 scrip order placed, your family will be entered into a drawing; for example, if your family places an or-der for $400, your name will be entered twice. On Dec. 12, we will draw 10 winners! The first name drawn will win a $100 gift card to Walmart. Second place will receive a $50 gift card to Walmart & third place will receive a $25 gift card to Walmart. Then we’ll draw sev-en more names who will each win a $10 gift card to Walmart. Thanks to Grayson Landscaping and Battery Warehouse! The CCS varsity girls’ basketball team would like to thank Grayson Landscaping (owned by CCS par-ents) and Battery Warehouse of Westminster (owned by CCS alumni) for their sponsorship of our team in helping us afford the Krossover program to improve our players and team. Please show your support to these fine businesses who were generous in offering their support to us. Sat Dec 1 - Senior Pancake Dinner [Click Here] Take a break from your Christmas shopping to join us in the Great Room anytime between 3:15 and 7:30 to warm up with pancakes and sausage. Permission Slips Due At this busy time of year, please monitor your child’s RenWeb account and complete any permission slips per-taining to your child. Many permission slips are due Dec 7! • If a student does not have an exam for a particular period (e.g. they are a teacher's aide or have study hall), they need to send a note to the office by Monday, December 17th in order to skip that exam period. Please state the day and which period exam they are missing.

• If the student will miss the first exam period of the day, they must arrive by 10:20 am to be on time for the 2nd exam period.

• If the student will miss the second exam period of the day, they must sign out at the office no earlier than 9:45 (after the first exam period) and must have a ride pick them up at 9:45. The name of the person responsible to pick the student up must be stated on the aforementioned note.

• All students should plan to bring something quiet to read or study, as they must remain in class and silent when finished an exam Fri Dec 21 – Last Day before Christmas Break!

Important Reminders for Elementary Choirs

Elementary Christmas Program—December 6 @ 6pm

Note: Intermediate choir (4th-5th grades) students should be on stage at 5:15pm

Primary Choir students (K-3rd grades) should be present and seated in choir loft at 5:45

(Secondary Program: 7:15pm)

************************************************ Elementary Dress Boys: Top: Christmas colored (red, green, yellow, white etc.) dress shirt and appropriate, complementing tie. (A po-lo shirt is appropriate for younger—1st-3rd grade—elementary students; however, a dress shirt with a Christ-mas colored tie, is preferable). Pants: Black pants. (Dark colored slacks/pants are acceptable if he does not own black pants). No jeans. Shoes: Nice black/dark dress shoes.

Girls: Dress: Christmas colored (red, green, yellow colors; patterned or solid etc.) dress is preferable; or "Christmassy" skirt/shirt. Please, no pants or leggings. Skirt length should fall within CCS dress code (mid-knee or longer), and outfits should not be sleeveless. Shoes: Nice dress shoes.

Note: Students that have a Bible time character should bring a pair of sandals (brown or dark, earth color). This includes all Shepherds, 3 Wise Men, Mary, Joseph, Innkeeper, Angel.

If you have additional accessories you can add to your robe, please bring them Friday or Monday or email me about it.

Props still needed - 4 or 5 Shepherds Staffs (Canes)

- Birthday Cake that's lettered, "Happy Birthday, Mary" (Used in first song; If possible, for 10 students so that intermediate can eat it after)

- 6 dozen cookies, (used as a prop in the first song, as well as for primary choir students to eat after the con-cert :))

- Gold sashes, hat. hat piece, belts for three wise men.

CAROLING AT TOWN MALL: Grades 1-5 Dress: The elementary students can wear the same outfit when they go caroling at Town Mall on December 13th.

Buses depart for the mall at 10:30am; perform 11-11:45 in the Belk Court, and return to CCS at 1:30p.

Parents who plan to eat and leave with their child must indicate that on the permission slip and notify teachers before they leave on that day.

Secondary choir students should arrive by 7:00 to be seated in the choir loft after the Elementary Program dismisses.
