On a month-on-month basis, the momentum related to raising money (in terms of number of companies) through preferential allotment

marginally improved in June 2019. The number of companies that raised capital through preferential allotment in June 2019 (9 companies) was

higher than May 2019 (six companies). However, five companies are below market capitalisation of | 100 crore. For full year CY18, 223

companies had raised capital through preferential allotment compared to 243 companies in CY17.
