Results of Primary Section (classes III – V)A pet animal or a bird is tamed by a person, looked after at home as a member of the family.

Although, I do not have a pet, I would definitely like to have one for myself. I love dogs and whenever I see my neighbour playing with his pet dog, I wish I had one for myself. My mother does not allow me to keep a pet, because she says that I would not be able to look after it properly, but I have promised her, that if she brought one for me, I

would definitely take very good care of it.

I would like to have a 'Dalmatian' pup as a pet. Although I like all breeds of dogs, yet I am very excited at the thought of having a Dalmatian pup as a pet. They are white in with black spots, very cute and cuddly. I have heard that they are very faithful to their masters, so I would take very good care of it. Every morning I would take him out for a walk, I would ask my mother to prepare a good diet for him. I would also feed him with all nutritious food, and would also get him vaccinated. I would brush his fur with a soft brush everyday, and once a week I would give him a bath. I would give him timely meals, and at night before going to bed I would take him for a walk in my garden. I would also ask my father to build a dog house for my pet in the garden. I would keep the dog house clean and hygienic so that he does not catch any infection. I would train him how to behave with family members and with strangers. I would also train him to take good care of the house and not to be over-friendly with strangers.

I hope that my mother gives me permission to have a pet and I promise that I would definitely take very good care of it.

— Shubham Jindal, IV C, Station Road

If I could have any animal for a pet then it would be a dog.

Dog being the most faithful animal is preferred as a pet by most of the people. My pet would be a small, cute white dog. I will call him 'Shera.'

I will love my pet and will take proper care of him. Regularly in the morning, I will take him for a walk. After the walk, I will give him his

breakfast consisting of milk and bread. In the evening, we will play together. He will be my best friend with whom I will share everything of mine, including milk, chocolates, biscuits, etc.

I will give him a shower regularly to keep him clean in body. Vaccination is one of the foremost requirements for dogs, as vaccination keeps them off from disease and infection. Pets must be treated as members of the family.

We should have pets as they are our true friends. They are faithful and never harm us in any way. I wish my pet (Shera) comes soon, so that I don't need anyone to play with me at odd hours. Oh God, bless me soon with my Shera. I promise to protect and love your gift forever. — Vinayak Srivastava, III B, Mahanagar I

India has produced great heroes, great patriots, great thinkers and great social workers. Indian history is full of the brave deeds of heroes like Shivaji and Maharana Pratap. Shivaji is my favourite hero.

Shivaji was born in Maharashtra more than three hundred years ago. His mother Jijabai used to tell him stories from the Ramayana and the Mahabharat. His teacher Dadaji Kondev told him stories of courage and bravery. He learned swimming, riding and the use of various

weapons. He was hardly seventeen when he thought of becoming independent. Very soon he collected a small army of Marathas. He came to be known as Chhatrapati Shivaji. He made Raigarh his capital. Shivaji was a good soldier, a brave fighter and a wise statesman. But above all he was a kind ruler. He always consulted his ministers before doing anything. I am proud of my great hero Veer Shivaji.

I would like to have a pet dog. It would probably be a Golden Retriever. If I really had one, I would call him Bruno. I would play with him and teach him some good tricks. In the evening, I would take him to the park and play with him. I would teach him to greet the guests when they come to my house and to wash his feet whenever he returns home after a walk. I would take a good care of him and love him. I would take him to a vet regularly, feed him and bathe him. I would keep

him clean and healthy.

GOLDEN RETRIEVER IS WHAT I LIKE

I have an elder sister. Her name is Eliza. She studies in Class VI in my school. She is my best friend. I love my sister very much. She also loves me and helps me in all ways. My father calls her Sonu. She is my favourite sister. She is an intelligent, brave and soft-spoken girl.

We play, study and eat together. We share our things with each other. On my birthday, she decorates the house, and chooses a very nice gift for me. I like to go outside with my sister. Whenever I go somewhere

with my sister, she takes care of me. I love my sister very much.

MY SISTER, ELIZA

I have a younger brother. His name is Krishna Kapoor. He is two and a half year old. He is very cute and calls me Didi. He loves me a lot. He is studying in the Montessori class of my school. He is very naughty and imitates me. Whenever I study, he takes another book and starts reading. He likes to listen to stories and dances when music is on. His smile is very sweet. When I cry, he wipes my tears. When I get angry, he kisses me and says sorry. He is the best brother one can have. He likes

all the songs of the movie Bodyguard." He likes "Poha" for breakfast, "Dal Chawal" for lunch and Aloo-Puri for Dinner. He loves ice-cream very much.

I love him very much.

MY LITTLE BROTHER, KRISHNA

If I could have an animal as a pet, it would surely be a dog, a German shepherd, a brave and courageous dog who would fear no one. He would be just like me or rather my brother. The dog would be tall and good to look at with a shiny brown-black coat. He should be very quick in his actions, have a loud bark and should be fearless. He should have big ears and look clever. People should be scared of him but he must follow only and only my orders and not of other. I would go on a walk or a drill with him everyday at least two times, I would give him good food. I would provide him shelter, his own pent house, his own chew bone and his own food. I would love him very much. I would say that if I get a dog I would do a lot of things for him.
