MONTHLY ACTIVITY REPORT : PERIOD FROM 21 JAN 2021 TO 20 FEB 2021
1. PTM for Classes 1 to 12 : 22 & 23 Jan 2021. Online PTM was conducted
successfully on 22 & 23 January 2021 for classes 1 to 12 on Microsoft Teams App. A class
wise compiled Power Point Presentation for all subjects was shown to the parents to apprise
them about the completed syllabus, date sheet & syllabus for the annual examination along
with the syllabus to be completed & revised in the month of February 2021.
2. Result Declaration of UT-2 (Class - 11). On 22 January 2021, online result was
prepared and uploaded on digicamp and the link of the same was shared with the parents to
see the result of their wards.
3. Republic Day Celebration : 26th Jan 2021. Army Public School Jhansi celebrated
the 72nd Republic Day on 26th January 2021. The program started with the flag hoisting
ceremony by the Principal, Mrs. Meenakshi Panjwani and all the Departmental Heads
followed by the National Anthem which was telecasted online for the staff and the students of
APS Jhansi. After this a cultural program was put up online including the speeches of the
Head Boy, Himanshu Dixit and the Head Girl, Khooshboo Yadav followed by mesmerising
dance performances and patriotic songs. On this occasion various competitions based on
„Tri-Colour theme‟, were displayed online and their results were declared. The program
culminated with refreshments for the staff in school.

4. Social Science Fest. Social Science Fest for classes 6th to 12th was organized from
15th December 2020 to 31st January 2021. Students of classes 6th to 12th participated
enthusiastically in the activities as per their talents and choices showing their innovative ideas
in the form of functional and non-functional models and various projects. Various activities of
„Social Science Fest‟ were as follows:-
(a) Tap with Rap
(b) Dancpirations
(c) Myth Blasters
(d) Mathkriti
(e) Cinematic Triumph
Students were asked to send their activities to the concerned class teachers and the
entries were assessed according to the criteria set.

5. Club Activities for Classes 1 to 8 : 21 Jan 2021 to 20 Feb 2021. The club activities were conducted from 21st January 2021 to 20 February 2021. The children of Club A from classes 1 to 8 were taught the basics of vocal and instrumental music like Alankars, Hindi and English Prayers, Shlokas, Gayatri Mantra etc. In the Art Club children were taught to draw Monkey Drawing, Ship, Happy Birthday Card, Facial Expression, Calligraphy Drawing and Flower Pot. These students were also enriched with general quiz based on different subjects, types of library and Famous Personalities. Students of Club B were taught classical dance steps on shlok , semi classical prayer and action dance. In the Art Club they were taught how to make Origami hanging butterflies {paper craft}, Wall Hanging paper tree , mini paper bag , pen pencil craft ,Doormat {Wool Activity} , Paper gift bag and 3D paper stars. Students were also enriched with the knowledge of how to use Republic Day Special Virtual Library with special features, Quiz on current affairs, famous personalities, Indian scientists, M. Vishvesvaraya‟s biography & motivational videos were shown in all the club activity classes. Students thoroughly enjoyed different activities during the club meets.
6. Sports Achievement. Hapur Pro-Kabaddi league 2020-21 was organised by the
District Kabaddi Association Hapur at JMS World School from 20January 2021 to 22 January
2021. Eight teams participated in the same in which Aakash Yadav of class 11 -D from our
school was selected in the Yajuvendra Yoddha team. He won the tournament and also
brought laurels to our school.

7. Offline Preparatory Classes for Sainik School and RIMC. Preparatory classes for Sainik School and RIMC were conducted in the school following all the necessary Covid1-19 norms. Practice MOCK tests were also conducted, on all Sundays (online) and Saturdays (offline), to prepare the students for their exam. Apart from this, daily revision tests along with sample papers were also given on daily basis in the evening. A Lead Board was also prepared so that the performance of each and every child could be monitored.
8. Entrance Exam for Sainik School, Jhansi. Entrance exam for Sainik School was held in Army Public School Jhansi on 07th February 2021 following all the Covid norms. A total number of 336 out of 360 students appeared for the same. It was conducted smoothly and successfully.

9. Reopening of School for Classes 9 to 12. Army Public School Jhansi reopened for classes 10th & 12th from 25 January 2021, following all the precautionary measures of Covid-19. Later the school re-opened offline for the students of 9th & 11th also on 15th February 2021.
10. Second Pre-Board for Classes 10 & 12. Pre Board -2 Examination for classes 10th& 12th is being conducted offline from 15 February 2021 following all the precautionary measures of Covid-19.
11. Tata CLASSEDGE Training for Teachers : 11 Feb 2021. Mr. Vishal Udhani of Tata
ClassEdge conducted a refreshing workshop on 11th February 2021 for the teachers of Army
Public School Jhansi. Mr. Vishal focused on an introduction to Classedge, its design
philosophy, multiple learning experiences along with its functions and features. Further he
detailed about the software‟s functionality which could easily be handled by the teachers
using it. Doubts regarding the usage of the software were also clarified by him. It was a fruitful
training experience which will help the teachers to impart the different methodologies learnt
during the session and to make the classes more effective.

12, Weekend Quiz (Zee Mind Wars). Army Public Jhansi has enrolled for Zee Mind
Wars Quiz with the enrollment ID UP130004. APS Jhansi conducted two weekend quizzes
i.e. Make in India Quiz & Science Quiz respectively wherein the students participated with full
zeal and zest. Sonam Jadhav of class 4 and Mikul Gupta of class 4 were the winners for the
same respectively.
13. Social Science Fest : 14th December 2020 to 31st January 2021. Social Science
Fest was organized in which students of classes I to V participated enthusiastically. There
were 2 events as listed below. The students could participate as per their talent and choice.
They were instructed to send their activities to their concerned class teachers.

“ Let our students be crusader to light up our future through their imaginative superhero who
can make the world a better place to live in.”
14. The students were instructed to dress up creatively in an appropriate attire to represent
their Superheroes/ Famous personalities of their choice. They had to speak about how that
personality inspires them to bring hope for the future. They all looked vibrant in their colourful
costumes and played their parts confidently.

Rangotsav 2020 ***2020 a year of Virtual Celebration*** “So, let us come together and celebrate virtually…..”
Students in collaboration with parents were instructed to make 1-2 minute video
presenting the celebration of festival during this phase of pandemic using technology.
15. Quiz Competition on the occasion of “Republic Day”. To celebrate the soul of
Republic Day, Department of School Education and literacy, Ministry of Education
Government of India in Association with Ministry of Defence conducted a quiz competition for
the students on mygov.in portal during the period from 20th to 30th of January 2021. Various
students of the Primary Section from APS Jhansi participated with full zeal and zest. The
students were energized and excited in participating in the competition.

16. Special Assembly on the Occasion of “Vasant Panchami” : 16 Feb 2021. Vasant
Panchmi is one of the festivals dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, called the king of the Spring
Season. It is celebrated with full fervor by seeking the blessings of the Goddess of knowledge
and wisdom.
17. To mark the occasion, a Special Assembly was conducted in APS, Jhansi. It started
with the “Saraswati Vandana” and lightening of the lamp by our Principal Mrs.Meenakshi
Panjwani.
18. The assembly was put up by the students of all sections of Class 7th which was
telecasted online. Various mesmerizing dances and songs were presented enthusiastically by
the students.
19. Competitions conducted by CBSE to celebrate Republic Day. A report to honour the constitution and republic of our country. Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Govt of India in association with the Ministry of Defence conducted following competitions during the period 20 - 30 January 2021 :- (a) Quiz competition
(b) Essay writing competition
(c) Poetry writing competition 20. Students were encouraged to participate in the competition directly and submit it on mygov.in portal. About 40 students from classes 6 to 12 participated in these competitions. The students were quite enthusiastic and enjoyed participating in the competitions. It made the students aware of the significance of Indian Constitution, unity and integrity of our nation and provided an opportunity to every student to be patriotic towards the nation.
