$2,000 Recipients must be between the ages of 9 and 99, and they must be nominated.

The nomination should be at least 500 words describing how the nominee best personifies caring, and would be a worthy role model to be emulated by others.

The nomination must be accompanied by two letters of recommendation, one from an educator, and one from a sponsor in the community (for the youth applications).
