There’s a Monster in Grandad’s shedAnd it walks the walkWhen I’m in my bedI hear it rustlingI hear it bustlingThis way and thatScaring next door’s old tabby cat!Meow!Hiding under Granma’s old wedding day hat!It looks like a batPurrs like a catIs really, really fatBut can stretch out quite flat when it slides under the back door!Oh no!There’s a Monster under Grandad’s shedI think it’s called Fred!
MONSTERS HAVE NAMES!
Monster Fred was large and redespecially when he hid under brother John’s bed!
BOO!
Monster Sam liked strawberry jam on his ham,
but runs away when you shout “SCRAM!”
Monster Dave forgot to shave and used his longgrey beard to Mexican wave!

Monster Sue didn’t know what to do and like tohide in an unsuspecting shoe!

SMALL & BRIGHT
In the night I saw a single flameGlowing small and brightIt was indeed a comforting sightBut then it grewThe fear grew toThe fire devoured all we knewThe smoke filled airBlack and darkChoking all it touchedLondon 1666All that long time ago!

DARK DOWN THERE
