These cards keep track of how many
members we have as well as our visits.
We are required to report these figures each
month to the municipality. These records
justify our municipal funding.
The Monroeville Senior Citizens Center
receives grant funding each year.
We are rewarded these funds based on
our monthly attendance records.
These opportunities will not be available,
if our attendance does not show the need!
Donations :
The Monroeville Senior Center is
operated and owned by the Municipality
of Monroeville. The municipality covers
the operational costs of the building.
All programming costs are raised and
paid for by the Monroeville Council of
Senior Citizens.
Each year the Senior Council works hard
to raise allocations to offset programming.
These funds have provided the following
amenities - exercise equipment,
commercial grade appliances for the
kitchen, furniture for the lobby,
computers, movie projector/screen.
These funds also offset the costs for our
monthly special events and entertainment.
Donations help in a big way at the center.
Even the smallest amount can make a
difference. If you would like to help make
a difference in the goings-ons here at the
center, you might want to consider giving
a donation. The center is a 501 (c) (3)
charitable organization and your donation
would be tax-deductible. Please contact
the main office to see how you can make
a contribution to the center!
Holiday Closures:The center will be closed on the following days in
